Stocks a range of food and goods including vegan snack foods, nutritional vitamins, supplements, soap, personal care, cleaning supplies, pet food, and other cruelty-free products. Selection of vegan wine and beer. Confirmed closed Dec 2016.

Nice little shop - Edit
Visited this place to find to-go food. It is small and has a microwave but the only seating they had was covered in products. I got a bagel sandwich, it was okay. I think I'm spoiled by Food Fight in Portland though. They have a wide variety of goods though, just not a lot of ready-to-eat food.

Compared to what is available at larger stores that should carry lots of vegan stuff...but don't (no names!), Artichoke Red has a very large selection! It's a bit of a drive for me, but I make special trips just to get things I can't get anywhere else, like Chipotle Vegenaise :) They also get any new specialty vegan foods that are just coming onto the market, which is a huge plus.

This place is a little vegan grocery store. It doesn't have a large selection, but it is all vegan. Since it's so small, the prices are higher than what you would pay in the larger stores and chains like Whole Foods, but we should support the local businesses when we can. Plus, you don't have to check labels here unless you have food allergies.

A great small local business. I love to shop here, because I always find new products to try. They make you feel welcome and are always able to tell you about the products. If your looking for something and they don't have it the owner will go out of his way to find it for you. If you can't find it here your not likely to find it anywhere else. They make you feel welcomed and they really value as a person as well as a customer. I always end up with more than I went for, but am never disappointed. I read the comment about the store being cramped and that you could find the products at other store less expensive. They have moved which solved the cramped problem. As for finding things cheaper somethings can be found other places cheaper, but most are the same, closely priced or even less and they have a lot of products you can't find anywhere else. At other places you don't get the hospitality and knowledge that you get here and if you ask me it's worth a dollar more to get friendly and personalized service. A definitely pleasurable experience and a must for any vegan.

The owner is super friendly. The store is very clean and you may purchase vegan candies, mints, body care, staple food items such as chia seeds and oat patty mix, MMMM Blue Monkey Thai coconut water ice cold, and so on!!!

It's small but very wonderful! I love talking with the staff whenever i go in there! And the owner always listens to requests. I remember i just mentioned how i love a certain vegan chocolate, and a week later i found out that he ordered it for the store just because I said something about it! You'll find everything you need here, except for fresh fruit and veggies. And they send out coupons through email every week! the prices can be a bit high sometimes, but what do you expect from a small business on orange ave?! he has to pay rent too! i love artichoke red

A lovely surprise in this vegan friendly community. A small shop with tons of products. FINALLY, I DO NOT HAVE TO READ LABELS!! That is SOO AWESOME!! Vegan Marshmallows, fresh baked breads on weekends. Best selection of Vegan Vitamins. Very friendly, knowledgeable owner.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet. I stumbled over this market after having lunch at Ethos Vegan Kitchen. It's within walking distance, and across the street from a great used record store. The owner is vegan, and verifies that every single product in the store is vegan and not animal-tested! They carry snacks, meal-starters (like tvp sloppy joe mix and tofu scramble mix!), vitamin supplements, a huge selection of herbal teas & yerba mate, vegan cleaning products and toiletries, and even have a fridge with Vegenaise.
