Open Sundays too, drinks café - Edit
Lovely little shop, including special unusual things such as ice cream sandwiches. Buy many things by weight (bring a bottle for olive oil), which makes it really affordable. Friendly. Serves hot drinks and snacks as well, with 2 tables inside and one outside. Right by a bus stop (buses from Halifax).

Great Range - Edit
Fabulous shop, so many items I’ve not seen in other shops of this type. It’s like an Aladdin’s cave of vegan products! We’d only popped in to show support as we travel around visiting vegan places but came away with quite a few items. Staff and customers really friendly. Would definitely pop in again when over that way, if I lived there I’d be in all the time😄

Glittering vegan jewel in Calderdale! - Edit
Wonderful little independent vegan shop. Sells organic fruit and veg, locally baked fresh bread, chilled and frozen food including a deli fridge with olives, salads, cakes etc, refills of dry goods and personal hygiene/laundry/cleaning supplies, teas and coffees, jars and packets and tins, sweets, chocolates, locally made gifts and goodies ... and that is far from an exhaustive list!

Isolde, the owner, is really lovely and can't do enough for you (including ordering something in if you can't see what you want).

Artichoke Natural Foods - Brilliant - Edit
Brilliant store full of zero waste foods, household items and raw ingredients (spices, herbs, flour etc). Has jars etc for sale but you can also bring your own containers to fill up on what you need. Also has vegan treats to die for, lots of vegan groceries, a deli counter and fresh fruit/veg too. A hidden gem of Calderdale!
