Un 3.5 casi 4 - Edit
Es un vegetariano en buena zona. Pedimos una "Lasaña Artemisa" y un "Calabacín Reina de África". Estaban bien, tampoco nada espectacular. Un servicio agradable y un precio medio. Todo correcto.

Rico y porciones generosas - Edit

Decent - Edit
I’m not usually a fan of super healthy-focused food, but most of these types of places I’ve been to I liked. Artemisa is a bit weird though. I ordered the vegan sampling platter. The croquettes were a little too bitter (as was the carrot and orange juice, but I suspect that was just error in making it, it tasted like there was some peel in it), and the chips that came with the hummus were really old. The eggplant (basically an eggplant Parmesan) was good, as was the hummus and the tofu with teriyaki sauce. I’d say add more protein to the vegan options

Lunch menu - Edit
The set three course menu for lunch is great value. It’s a huge amount of food. Nice to be able to eat food that is (mostly) Spanish while in Spain rather than just felafel, Asian, etc.

Many options but fair taste - Edit
Reserved a seat and it saved our spot - it was very busy on a Saturday night. We got many different dishes to try as much as possible, but some things were better than others.
Read moreWe had the croquette and nachos as an entree; the guacamole was great! As a main, I had the zucchini back, my friends had the zucchini fritters & vegan paella. The zucchini bake was tasty but very salty; the quinoa very bland. The zucchini fritters were great, accompanied by average at best paella. The paella was bland and very disappointing.
As a desert we had the carrot & pumpkin cake, which had the taste of marzipan and was very soft, moist & muddy in all the wrong ways. All in all the food was not the best and lacked flavours.

Nice little place in Madrid - Edit
The place is very cute and has a nice atmosphere. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had a daily menu with a Mexican salad and mix plate, which was a nice way to sample parts of the menu. We ordered a paella, which was a little bland. But we ordered a Gazpacho, which was the best we had in the whole of our spain trip through andalusia. Amazing!!! The triple croquettes were also a nice way to sample different things.

Very good food - Edit
I went for lunch several times in April 2023 and had really good meals here. Currently the meal of the day is €14.50 but only €11.5 if you get it to go. At any rate, it comes with a choice of a first plate and a second plate. For the first plate, I chose the Protein Salad and for the second plate, I chose the tasting plate which came with four or five different items on it. The meal also comes with your choice of drink And dessert. Everything I had was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid. The only thing I didn’t care for was that they use a lot of olive oil in the preparation of the meal so sometimes the meal seemed kind of oily. Someone left a previous review saying that a reservation was necessary. But I called the restaurant and they said that they don’t take reservations. Perhaps this is only for lunch but as of now reservations are not necessary. But it’s first come first serve, and the place really filled up by 2:15. On Friday, get there no later than 1:30pm when they open.

Artemisa … - Edit
We stopped in and made reservations at Artemisa during our afternoon walk. Advisable to have the reservation. Place fills up.
Read moreWe started our dinner with a glass of Rioja wine and their mushroom croquettes, which we had to ask to make them vegan since they have other non-vegan options here. Nice start for the two us and it came with couscous on the platter.
For our entrees, my husband went with a vegan mushroom pizza. I had the vegetable wok. Nothing bad to say about either meal but nothing for us to rave about either.
Pros: Close to our hotel
Cons: Nothing bad to say.

Great food, friendly staff - Edit
Our group was two vegans, one gluten free and one omnivore. The menu (available in English) has a range of dishes, both vegetarian and vegan, all clearly labelled. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, well portioned and arrived with a smile. Obviously a popular place as every table was taken by the time our starters arrived! We will definitely return.

Excelente opción fuera de lo común - Edit
Vegetarian restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and they have many vegan options. They have a choice of a 3-course menu or the main course only. They stop serving after 2pm (check if it has changed). I recommend this place if you are looking for home options and not so much commercial.

Good menu of the day and lovely staff - Edit
We had lunch on a week day so we went the menu of the day. They have only two starters and two mains to choose from. The starters were both vegan and one main was a combo plate with vegetarian and vegan specialities, and the other a lassagne which could be veganized. However we arrived late and they had already run out of lassagne, they offered a vegetarian stuffed aubergine so we order the combo plate which the made vegan just by replacing the vegetarian stuff with some vegan dishes. I have to say the staff was really nice, pretty accommodating and helpful. There was only one vegan dessert in the menu of the day out of four choices but they served us one not listed just to make up for not having any more lassagne, that we really wanted to try. BTW the restaurant is now 100% gluten free

Very tasty - Edit
A very interesting restaurant in Madrid downtown. Austere in the decoration but very tasty in the meals. The 'plato combinado' is almost always a success of contrasts of flavors and variety of materials and textures. The sauces with which the dishes are seasoned and the desserts of extraordinary quality are worth mentioning. It is important to note that everything here is gluten free and there are options (ask the waiter) for vegetarians and for vegans.

Okay food. Made me sick. - Edit
Got a migraine the next day - happens if I accidentally eat eggs, without fail. I made it clear that I'm vegan. Something got mixed up.
Read moreThe food itself was edible. Pizza was meh. Fried rice was okay. Boiled broccoli with a glob of soy mayo (tartar sauce?) on top. Beetroot patty that was nice but I suspect is the source of the egg. Or maybe the mayo was actually real, who knows.
13.90€ for the menu of the day. Came with soup and dessert. I wouldn't go back, even if it hadn't made me sick.
