Serves meat, vegan options available. ArtBar offers a completely separate vegan menu with appetizers, entrees and vegan desserts. Also offers the beyond meat patty as a meat substitute and even uses Just Mayo brand for all sauces. Most of the standard dishes can also easily be made vegan and most of the items are made in the in-house bakeshop and kitchen. Breakfast menu has some vegan choices such as oatmeal, avocado toast and more. NOTE: Reported September 2024 to have limited vegan options – please send updates to HappyCow. Open Mon-Sun 6:30am-10:00pm.

No more separate vegan menu - Edit
Basically just the beyond burger. So if you can’t make it to the places with more options this is a “okay” choice.

Good food - Edit
With a separate vegan menu, ArtBar offers a couple of vegan dishes for every course of the meal. The caesar salad is great especially with the impossible burger option. The cauliflower tacos are tasty with a tangy sauce.

Meh. - Edit
I reviewed the “vegan menu” online and thought I would get the butternut soup and caesar salad. Our waitress said the soup couldn’t be made vegan so I split the salad as an appetizer and had the beyond burger. The salad wasn’t creamy, it was more like a lemon vinaigrette, but not bad. The burger was pretty good. Pickles were awesome, but it was only lukewarm. My mom sent back her food because hers was also just warm. Don’t go out of your way to try this place but it’s great that they offer vegan options.

Great atmosphere with outside dining on the Charles River - Edit
This is great place to come with your friends who aren’t vegan as everyone can eat here and it’s a quality menu. There are many vegan cafes in Boston but most serve bowls, aren’t formal restaurants but casual dining and take out. Love the outside dining in the good river with views of the Charles River. If they don’t provide you with the vegan menu, ask as they have one but don’t ignore their main menu as there are items that are on the main menu that can easily be made vegan (remove the cheese and such). They have items like the Beyond Burger and avocado toast.

Good spot! - Edit
Separate vegan menu--love that.
Read moreWe shared pita/hummus, Beyond Burger, soup and caesar salad. Pita/hummus was some of our favorite ever, Beyond Burger was good, soup was great, Caesar salad was odd—when it came out they told us that the Caesar dressing has anchovies and gave us a vinaigrette dressing instead. Not quite sure why it was on the vegan menu if that’s the case, we guessed they were probably just out or the server didn’t understand. No biggie, still happy w the food and left full.
Spent about $100 (also got three drinks @ ~$13 a pop).
Scene was better than expected for a hotel bar/restaurant—busy on a Saturday night middle of winter, but we still got seated right away.
We plan to go back.
