Serves meat, vegan options available. Coffee shop and cafe offering a few marked vegan choices, including vegan omelette in sandwich or in a power breakfast. Has smoothies. Reported closed January 2024.
I was looking for the limited amount of vegan breakfast options near my hotel room and this place came up… The menu said they had a vegan omelet sandwich… I ask for it… The lady looks confused and says “let me check” then she went off and came back saying they I don’t have it… I asked if they had any other vegan options she just sort shrugged her shoulders… Okay… No food, fine. I asked for an unsweetened ice tea. She points to a small fridge and says that’s unsweetened ice tea... I pay 8 dollars for it… I get to my hotel room… take a sip and it’s sweeter than candy… That place sucks and you should never go.
This place was super basic. The food was honestly MID. I ordered the French toast, it was nothing special about it, just decent. Definitely not worth the price at all. I was disappointed after seeing so many good reviews for it. They barely had vegan options. Also, they didn’t have more than like 3 basic hot tea options. #Veganuary
I got the Chickpea Omlette Sandwich. It was ok but too expensive. And you have to get the GF bread because the regular sandwich bread is not vegan (neither of the 3 options).
I will say, I did get the chickpea vegan omelette on a croissant and it was delicious. The rest of the experience was not so good. My husband and I picked out what we wanted and I went up to order. I asked for two iced hazelnut coffees. Andre (cashier) at this point asked what kind of iced coffee- I said, just two regular iced coffees with hazelnut. He started flailing his arms and asking if I actually read the menu. He stormed out from behind the register and pointed in the menu where it gave the option of multiple different iced coffees, to which I still replied that I wanted a regular iced coffee with hazelnut. So he puts the order in. My husband got the French toast (he/ this item is not vegan). He was asking me what kind of bread and it was hard for me to understand what he was asking with his accent and the masks on, so he again got very irritated and was yelling and enunciating things to the point where it was very embarrassing. Order was placed and half of it came out wrong. I will never return to this place, such a nice atmosphere to sit outside and eat. Such a shame.
Me and my hubby had the vegan omelette sandwich (when we asked if they had any other vegan options they said they had the same thing as a «power breakfast»). The staff was nice, and the place is fine, but the sandwich didn’t taste that great to be honest. We finnished our sandwich, but we won’t be going back.
Loved the shamshucka with chickpea omelette and amazing coffee and toast - Edit
They had shamshucka on the menu which I was excited to see. It’s usually made with eggs. I asked them if I could sub the chickpea omelette for eggs, they were a little confused but they accommodated my request. The chickpea omelette came separate but I just cut it up and put it in the shamshucka and it was delicious. My husband had the chickpea omelette sandwich which was also really good. They also have great toast.
I had the vegan omelette sandwich, which was disgusting, the omelette itself had a terrible texture as did the bread. Don't bother going, there are much better places.
My wife and I chanced going here despite the bad reviews. Looks like they have taken the negative criticism well and educated their staff.
They were incredibly polite and even complimented our tattoos!
We had a toasted vegan omelette sandwich and a vegan apple filo stick. They were both great! Not too many options but either way our breakfast was great!
To start out with the highlights, they had some great little apple juices that I LOVE. Love the aesthetic of the place and the cashier was nice but not knowledgable. My lady and I ordered two, “vegan omelette sandwiches” he said we don’t have vegan here with a vegan sign to the right of the register. I ordered the red and white drink (can’t think of the name) to the right of the counter, the “vegan smoothie” and wasn’t a fan. Last straw for me was when not only did they put regular milk inside of my almond milk, but I double checked with the waiter and he said it was almond milk, and it ended up being regular milk. Thanks for having vegan options but will not give them my business again.
While standing in line looking at the menu, I noticed two vegan items- the vegan omelette, and a vegan apple pastry. The digital screen behind the cashiers advertised the vegan omelette, and a vegan power breakfast (that comes with vegan bread and some sides).
I get up the front and ask what vegan items they offer. *Blank stare* I mention the two items on the screen, notably the vegan power breakfast. *Blank stare* "We don't offer that." "But it's on the screen literally right behind you," I said.
I wasn't getting anywhere, so I decided to go with the vegan omelette. Cashier asks what kind of bread I'd like. "Which of the breads are vegan?" *Blank stare* "We don't have any breads that are vegan. We have one that's gluten-free." (gee, how helpful!) I ask if another employee knows.
The manager (apparently) comes over, tells me that none of the breads are vegan (ok, so a vegan entree comes with non-vegan bread?) and dismissively says that no one has ever questioned him so much, and he's very busy.
They only offer 2 vegan items on the menu from what I saw: a chickpea omelette sandwich and sweet potato soup. The chickpea omelette tasted more like a pancake than an omelette. It was just ok, won't be returning.
