Hospital Food - Edit
Fiona Stanley Hospital in Murdoch is nearby a veggie restaurant called Formosa which is a short drive away, but it's not open all day. If you're already at the hospital and need to grab a quick bite to eat then there are lots of healthy vegan options at Aroma Cafe in the hospital food court to choose from, so you don't need to risk losing your car parking spot in the busy car park to go find something fairly decent to eat. Aroma also serves juices/smoothies, and hot beverages with dairy free milks.
Read morePlease be aware some of the vegan wraps are displayed in the glass cabinet right next to the meat rolls and were touching the pork rolls which is off putting.
The Vegan Roast Vegetable Wrap was packed with a nice selection of veggies, but it could do with some sauce or hummus as it was a bit bland - there is a choice to have it toasted which might taste better.
The Mexican Quinoa Salad was fresh but again, it needed some extra oomph. If you do plan to eat here maybe take a pot of hummus with you!
The banana bread is not marked vegan but staff have told me it is on a couple of occasions. The first time I got it it was given to me cold and it was a bit dry, the second time they toasted it and spread vegan butter on top which was much better and, very nice!
Overall it's great to see vegan food available for visitors at Fiona Stanley Hospital
