Perfected vegan bar food !!!

Wednesday night.
First time in Austin, I’ve been to tons of plant base bars but this one is my most favorite!
The food truck is located out side the bar, after ordering spicy chipotle burger homemade patty and Mac and cheese, I waited inside a artsy dive bar inside, while a drunk my PBR!

The service awesome.
Food so good, I ended up eating every bit of it!
Great beer selection and great roots music.
I couldn’t ask for more on a cold solo night!

Pros: Mac and cheese, $2 PBR!?, Eat at the bar or garden.

A favorite!

Arlo’s at The Grackle is consistently delicious. Love the bacon cheeseburger and tater tots combo. Always hot and fresh. Friendly service, too, so what’s not to like?

Delicious

I got the Double bac’n cheeze burger and the Mac&Cheeze.
The double bac’n cheeze burger was delicious, the Mac&Cheeze wasn’t the flavor i was expecting when I took my first bite but it was still good!

Great Vegan Burger!

Ordered the “Bac’n Cheezeburger” but without the “bac’n” and an order of tots. The burger was great. Tots were pretty salty but still good! The workers were super friendly and happy to accommodate.

Excellent vegan comfort food

Vegan burgers, tacos, and the like sold from a food truck, with ample outdoor seating. Not the healthiest of choices (though much healthier than similar, non-vegan places), but quite satisfying.

Pros: Nice vegan comfort food., Friendly service, good price.

Cons: Not gourmet or super-healthy

Get your junkfood cravings here!

This is the kind of place that you only eat at ever so often. Greasy burgers, great tater tots. Only thing missing is some proper shakes!

Very impressed

I have been fortunate enough to travel to many city’s and seek out the vegan food (happy cow has been a blessing) if you are looking for a “dirty burger” that is delicious and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. The bacn cheezeburger is excellent. This is a cool food truck. If you are looking for clean eating This is probably not the place for you. But if you want to a good quality burger truck vegan experience. This is right up there. Enjoy. Happy Vegan hunting x

Damn. Good. Burger!

Great vegan food truck I’m Austin. Parked at the Crackle bar. I had the bac’n cheeseburger with tots. Several options for burgers and tacos as well as a chipotle chicken sandwich.

I’ll definitely be back.

Pros: Great burger, Plenty of options , Laid back vibe

“This can’t be vegan, babe!”

My boyfriend (zero dietary restrictions) dragged his feet the whole way to Arlo’s the first time we went making jokes about the whole idea of a vegan burger place. We both got Bacon Cheeseburgers and tots with their chipotle mayo. The whole time he ate he kept saying, “This has to be real cheese! This is definitely real mayo! This can’t be vegan, babe.” And it sure was! We both loved the food and the experience. He now (still no dietary restrictions) requests we go to Arlo’s!

Pros: 100% vegan food truck , Tater Tots

Cons: Not gluten-free

Love this place! All vegan and delicious

Tried this my first day in Austin and it was sooo good I ate here all 3 days I was in town. Found myself craving the burger. The vegan cheese melted just right on the gluten-free bun. Vegan "Bacon" is not gluten-free and staff is very accommodating in making sure you get what you want. Best vegan comfort food I've ever had

Pros: Delicious food, all vegan, gluten-free options

Cons:

Delicious

OMG! In town visiting family and found this place through the Happy Cow app. Best vegan burger I have ever had. Only suggestion is to create a crunchy bacon option. Seitan bacon is good, but a crunchy vegan bacon would be great with it. Going back again before I leave town. Damn that burger was good!

Pros: Great tasting food and casual dining

Cons: Would like crispy bacon option

Amazing Bacon & Cheeseburger

Lovely outside seating area and the best vegan Bacon and Cheeseburger I've ever had. Reasonably priced, polite service and great service. Didn't have the appetite to try the tater tots but was told they're famous for them.

Best veggie burger on the planet

Arlo's definitely has the best veggie burger on the planet. As a gluten free vegan I didn't expect to be very impressed but it is amazing. The burger tastes very real but not disgusting like beef. The patties are made from scratch in their kitchen and use lentils as the base giving it a ton of flavor and making it filling. The burgers are very most but not soggy. The cheese melted on top sells it, though. Paired with a side of tater tots or fries this will be your new favorite place!

A good tip is that if you have a weak stomach like me, get the burger without cheese. That stuff makes it super heavy.

FYI, this is the best all around location. East Austin is pretty chill compared to Central. The Grackle has a parking lot and street parking. There tends to be a more mature crowd here. The bar workers at the Grackle are really cool. This is generally a slower Arlo's location, yet all of the food is the same as the other locations, so I recommend going here over the others as you'll have a short wait and easier parking. You can also enjoy East Austin while you're here!

Pros: Great location, Parking lot, Best veggie burger in the world with little wait

Cons: Unhealthy

Amazing burger and great atmosphere

This is a really fun location, a lot happening over here. We were able to sit at The Grackle's covered patio which had fans and plenty of seating! This is absolutely one of the best burgers, let alone vegan burgers, in town!

Pros: Amazing Food, Simple Menu, Plenty of Seating

Cons: Outdoor seating
