Great Snack or Meal - Edit
I got the black bean arepa and the black patacon. I love the flavor profile and the tiny shredded cheese.

Excellent food. - Edit
I really enjoy trying new foods from around the world. Luckily I live in a place that has an incredibly diverse cultural population and tons of authentic restaurants within a few miles of home. Arepa Grill is definitely one of those places. I can’t attest to the authenticity of the food (although I suspect it is very authentic) as I haven’t been to Venezuela yet. But I can tell you that the food is delicious. I went with my wife, son, and grandson and we ordered 4 different vegetarian items to share (there are vegan options for most of these foods). Everything we ordered was a hit with everyone (including the grandchild, who is a very picky eater).

Cons: Small place (if you consider that a con)

Visited this location after stopping by the Chamblee location—note to vegheads, they only have their expanded vegan/vegetarian menu at this location! (Doraville)
Read moreGot the “black vegan” which was an arepa filled with black beans, avo, and sweet plantains, and then got a cachapa with vegan cheese. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD. The arepa is fairly big, so if you’re not super hungry just get one, and if you’re very hungry you could do like my partner and I did and each get one then split something else. The cachapa was very big (I had never had a cachapa before; it’s like a sweet corn pancake) and it was incredible. Both things were delightful and I can’t wait to go back to try even more!!
