Got the lunch combo during the weekend once. Super filling. Almost a bit too filling.
Read moreIf you don't have much of an appetite, I would not recommend the lunch combo. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
But in all seriousness, this restaurant alone might just keep me coming downtown.
Pros: Good food, Good value
Cons: You better get there early else there's a line!

Delicious vegan Thai food - Edit
I was a bit in despair with the plane food enroute to Bellevue. Fortunately Araya's place stepped up and knocked it out of the park. The menu is enormous and portion sizes very large. If you're with others I'd recommend sharing a single portion as otherwise you'll leave a lot behind.

First time trying this place. We ordered 3 dishes for take-out and all agreed that it is very good. My favorites were Panang Curry & Kai Phad Khing. They have a great menu, lots of dishes. Can’t wait to try more things!

Been to both the Bellevue and Seattle locations and love them both! Entirely vegan and great place to bring non-vegans to try some vegan food that will blow their expectations out of the water. I get something different every time and have never been disappointed!

The best Tom kha soup ever!!! Also the whole restaurant has a super cute atmosphere and they gave me a delicious free dessert on my birthday! Always love coming here. The curries are also excellent.

I love Araya’s and I’ve frequented all three WA locations. I’m happy they’re the vegan option for downtown Bellevue. The decor is charming and the staff is friendly. Sometimes there’s a wait on weekend evenings but it’s worth it. There’s nothing I don’t like, but the tofu satay and pumpkin curry are definite favorites! Black sticky rice pudding is a decadent dessert. There’s a full bar for those who imbibe.

Great vegan restaurant in downtown (Old Town) Bellevue. We recently ordered the Family Meal which allowed us to pick several menu items for a multi course vegan dinner! Parking nearby can be tricky.

Araya's Place has completely mastered vegan food. I don't think I've ever been to another restaurant where I would be able to try absolutely anything on the menu and fall in love with it. The portions are large, the price is fair, and the flavors are wonderful.

I love vegan food and I love Thai food, so, obviously they’re perfect together when done well. I got the spicy noodles and my husband got the red curry. His curry was a little heavy on the licorice flavor, but all around it was great food. The food was spiced perfectly and I will be going back!

My husband ordered this for dinner yesterday and everything was delicious. We had the vegan tofu cream cheese rolls, mango salad, tofu pad Thai, and tofu phad phak. We will definitely be ordering here again, and visiting in person, soon.

Holy crap the lunch set!! Soooo much food for $13.99! My friend got the Brussels sprouts and fresh spring rolls, which were also delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu - it all looks so good!

Very pleasantly surprised to find such great food so conveniently. Vast menu to chose from of all-vegan deliciousness! I had the Pad Thai (I use it as a benchmark) plus vegetable spring rolls...both super tasty, highly recommended 👍🏾

We highly recommend this restaurant for vegan and non vegans as its just delicious. Pre-covid, they had an amazing buffrt option as well. The location is right in the middle of old Bellevue so it's quite nice as the layout is full of windows that overlook the street. Finally, the people that work here are genuinely kind and very efficient. We go regularly and have never had a bad experience!

We are from out of town, and they were way too many good choices to choose from in one sitting! We chose Lover's Curry and Spicy Noodles with jackfruit meat substituted for the tofu. They're both wonderful. I used my husband's extra curry sauce on my spicy noodles and lived the flavors. Wish were we closer so we could work our way through the menu.

This place is a gem for healthy food. It will make you want to become vegan. I particularly enjoyed their thai vegan buffet and was amazed at the variety and the quality of food. I’m from out of town. Arrived for lunch just 30 min before lunch ended. We didn’t realize that they normally only do the buffet for lunch and already knew what we wanted off the menu even though we didn’t have a menu in our hands. They cooked what we ordered off the menu with no hassle or complaints so we were oblivious. It was absolutely to die for good. Way better than the buffet even looked. Simply amazing. Only after our meal did we learn that they normally don’t serve off the menu at lunchtime and they never made us feel uncomfortable at all. Never rushed us. I would make a special trip out of town to go back there at dinner time and order again.

I had heard great things about this place, but was disappointed with the lunch buffet. The food was very bland and nothing really stood out as even above average. I didn't know bland Pad Thai was possible.

Constant hovering around me, but not people who had arrived later, trying to take my dishes before I was finished etc.. There was still quite a few empty tables as well.
