Nice little gem in the old town - Edit
We had a great time at Café April. We tried the vegetable curry, the feta tortilla with a special dip and salad, as well as the spaghetti "walnut" Bolognese. Everything was super delicious and well seasoned! For drinks, we went for their homemade lemonades - curcuma (turmeric), elderberry and lemon balm. Would recommend! Also the café is nicely located in the beautiful old town, which is definitely worth checking out - at least for a short walk.

yummy lentil stew - Edit
Café April is now fully meat free. When I was there last time I had the dish of the day, which was a lentil stew with bread. As a desert I tried the vegan chocolate coconut cake. Both where very delicious. The portions were big and the price fair.

The breakfast is always the same (weekdays till noon and weekends till later), but the lunch meals are changing daily.
The cakes are freshly made and constantly changing.
It’s nice and cozy. Love it ☺️

Many vegan options - even raw cakes ! - Edit
April is a lovely place with friendly staff! It´s mainly vegetarian and alwasys has at least 3 vegan main dishes on offer. Always at least one cake is vegan, and almost always they have a glutenfree vegan cake and something raw - e.g. cakes, energy balls with stinging nettle seeds. That´s thanks to Rachel who is into raw food and wild herbs.

Cons: Not completely vegan/vegetarian
