Finally made it here. - Edit
Only opens a few days a week so need to plan ahead. Was a let down that bingsu season ended already even though it was still 30c degrees outside ☹ The cake made up for it. Unique cakes and great coffee.

'Nine-free' vegan bakery in Seoul - Edit
I've never been to every vegan bakery in town yet, but I say, probably one of the best and most honest ones with their 'nine-free' promise!! "No butter, no milk, no egg, no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt, no white rice, no GMO, no preservative", and they mean it~ Vegan pizza quiche and cherry chocolate cupcake are must-try menu.
Read moreBTW, their location next to the trendiest Ikseon-dong neighborhood is a surprising plus~ Plz find 'Ibis Ambassador Insa-dong Hotel' on the map, and the bakery is right behind it in the redbrick bldg!!

Cute cafe - Edit
I always have a good experience at this cafe. On my most recent visit, I got the pizza quiche and choco coconut latte. The quiche was good, but I do prefer their desserts in comparison. The latte however blew me away! It was just perfect!

Initially went in on the hunt for vegan bread, they didn’t sell any but we still had a great cafe experience.
Read moreLovely atmosphere, had a earl grey tea drink with carrot cake. My partner had a chocolate coconut latte. All three things were scrumptious. We were especially appreciative after feeling the chill of a wet and cold winters day.
Drinks were 6k each, and the cake was 5k.
Pros: Tasty sweet drinks and cakes, Warm, Cozy
Cons: No extra vegan stuff for sale

This is by far the best vegan + gf bakery I tried in Korea. Also only one that does house made almond milk (+++++) just for that deserves 5 stars. The owners are adorable, they are very knowledgeable about all the ingredients and my favorite- the pumpkin pie with injeolmi layer is SUGAR FREE! No syrup or else. Just pure pumpkin. I could eat tons of these without any guilt.
Read moreI wish they had more options such as cookie, brownie etc and you ll need to “reserve” your pastry to make sure it’s available when you visit.
If you avoid soy, this is a good place to try drinks with almond milk and Healthy pastries made of coconut milk.
I really love this place as the owners really care about sourcing their ingredients- it s easy to open a junk vegan place with Gmo corn, soy and additives but this place truly is not.
Prices more than reasonable given the quality of ingredients.
Pros: Healthy, Gluten free, Friendly owners
Cons: Location (hard to find ;), Please more choices😄

Amazing!!! - Edit
This place was terrific!
Read moreI ate the green tea muffin which was really nice, and this perfect little blueberry tart, that I could never do justice with just words.
I definitely recommend this place!
Please note that there isn't really actual food there, but if you're looking for a snack (NOT junk food) or maybe a desert, that's absolutely a place worth visiting.

The Sweetest Stop for Afternoon Tea - Edit
The ladies that served us were so lovely and one of them spoke a little english! We had two lattes (made on almond milk and served cold), a banana one and a chocolate one and they were both divine. Can recommend the carrot cake. We wanted to get the ice cream but they didn't have enough for a full serving - they still gave us whatever they had left for free which was very sweet. We were also given bamboo-straws which I really appreciated.
Read morePros: Wonderful homemade drinks (fresh almond milk), Zero-waste (bamboo straws, drinks served in glass), Kindest Service
Cons: A little expensive perhaps, but still 5/5

Healthy looks, good taste - Edit
This family-run business serves a variety of sweet and healthy goodies:
Read moreBeside bakery goods (quite a few are gluten-free!), they also offer a couple of raw food items, vegan yogurt, vegan ice cream, kombucha and fruit smoothies. They refrain from adding white flour, white sugar, flavor enhancers and unnatural food coloring. Instead, they use brown rice flour and coconut-based ingredients for most of their products. Since they use seasonal fruit for their tartes, the menu gradually changes.
Overall they use good ingredients to produce healthy dessert items.
I have to admit that I was at first a bit skeptic... Bakery products are obviously hand-made on location and may simply look "too healthy"... They indeed tasted healthy, but still contained enough sweetness to taste pleasant. I felt very full after having two pieces of bakery, perhaps due to the whole grain?
Their green tea cupcake with red bean filling is surprisingly soft and moist. I loved that the green tea topping had a strong matcha flavor. 💚
The pumpkin tarte was crunchy on the bottom (crust with brown rice flour), chewy inside (mugwort rice cake) and topped with lots of creamy pumpkin puree.
If you want to eat something in particular, it is advised to contact them via instagram beforehand and check what's available that day.
On location, there is an English menu for international customers!
They also offer baking classes (in Korean) for anyone who's interested.
