Auf unserer Erkundungstour über die Insel sind wir auf auf dieses wundervolle Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Das Ambiente ist wundervoll, direkt am Strand 🏝️ Also näher kann man hier nicht am Strand essen. Dieses Lokal gehört mit zu einem Hotel. Hier ist alles sehr sehr sauber (auch die Toiletten)und das Personal sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend.
Read moreEs gibt eine ganze Seite nur mit vegetarischen Essen, die auf Nachfrage auch ohne Ei serviert werden. Das Essen war eine klare 9/10. Ich hab Pad Thai mit Gemüse gesehen und extra Tofu dazu bestellt ohne Aufpreis. Das hat uns sehr überrascht und gefreut.
Also auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
Pros: Das wunderschöne Restaurant direkt am Strand , Das Essen war sehr lecker , Alles ist unglaublich Sauber.

The pictures on here do not do this place justice. Amazingly tasty Thai food, lots of veggie options and good understanding of what vegan means. They made sure I didn’t want fish sauce in anything.

Extensive veg menu, with a rare thing in Thailand: veg dishes come with loads of different vegetables. Most places in Thailand limit veg dishes to tofu and mushrooms, but not at Ao Kao, which was a very nice surprise. Dishes are all very tasty and well worth the trip. The staff is super friendly and accomodating, and the restaurant sits right at the sea, with great views. Highly recommended

Bad food, serve egg tofu! - Edit
The food is really bad quality super salty and then we even got egg tofu served and that’s not vegan!! Never return to this place!
