Should not be on Happy Cow

They do not have vegan options and the staff has no idea why they are on this app. However, since I was here anyway, they were super nice and tried to make something for me. The salsa they bring with the chips has dairy, but they brought me an alternative. They also brought me a little sample of different frescas, which was very nice. I had a good experience, but they should not be on Happy Cow.

Pros: Very friendly staff

Cons: Should not be on Happy Cow

Yummy veg option

Really friendly service, only one waitress spoke English so if you don’t speak Spanish maybe google translate a sentence. No vegan option on the menu but the owner said she was going to make a vegan menu soon. Very accommodating and gave me a delicious grilled salad type plate with rice on the side. Very friendly and tasty food, paid about 10-12$ pp.

Pros: Good food, Friendly staff, Nice atmosphere

Cons: No vegan menu, Communication difficulties

Quaint friendly, and flexible

Enjoyed vegan burrito (beans rice lettuce avocado and salsa), chips, and agua fresca (melón y fresa).

Drink was impressive, very large made from fresh fruit.

There may have been some “accidentally vegan” candies there, as well, but I hadn’t much of a chance to look. They also have homemade popsicles, next time I must ask if they are nondairy.

Note: contrary to other review, nothing was labeled vegan and baked goods (at least when I visited) were not at all vegan. I had to talk to the waitress a bit to figure things out. Their staff was nice and helpful, I hope that they will start labeling things as vegan to attract more people and offering more options without us having to customize existing menu items.

Pros: Flexible menu, Waitress was understanding, accommodating

Cons: Must ask for vegan options, Menu is in Spanish, may need to ask for help
