Serves meat, vegan options available. An arts, music, and coffee venue with a large snack foods menu that includes vegan baked goods. Open Mon-Sun 6:30am-12:00am.
Staff is genuinely nice. Lots of flavor options, pretty standard prices and vegan sub options. The coffee was really sweet. Large seating area, but parking is a bit of a problem here.
This is a great little coffee shop that also serves (last I was there) vegan take away meals and big vegan cookies along with coffees & teas. There's a nice little area on the side with small colorful chairs & tables, which I used to love to enjoy with tea & a cookie or lunch. Inside is small and was always full even pre c19 fiasco. The past 2 x's I checked the place out, they refused cash so I refused to go there anymore until they remedy this bad practice. EQ is a better local option since they're not cash phobic.
Antidote is my fave coffee shop in the Heights - Edit
I loveee Antidote. Of course there are non-dairy milk options for their delicious drinks and they carry local food (with some vegan options) and drinks (i.e. Kickin' kombucha).
Seems like a cool place for coffee with plenty of great vegan snacks from Sinfull Bakery and Pat Greer's Kitchen, but I went there the other day (Oct. 23, 2014) and the vegan lasagna, tamale, and watermelon gazpacho list in the description above are no longer available.
Antidote is a fun little coffe/tea house in the heart of the Heights. They have a fridge in front with lots of tasty vegan food provided by Radical Eats. I've tried a handful of their tamales and their moussaka; all was great. It's a great option to eat there or to grab and go and is super affordable. The menu changes all the time, you just have to dig around the fridge and see what they have. You can also go to the Radical Eats website to get a better idea of what they might have.

Great chai! - Edit
They have "say when" concentrate which tastes amazing for a chai latte!
