“Egg” sandwich was delicious - Edit
We were in the area and found this place open and quiet. There was a menu but we were given a piece of paper about what was available. I had the “egg” sandwich which was delicious. Lots of flavour and served with a chutney on the side. I also had a banana and espresso shake which was beautifully topped with whipped cream. My partner had a hot cocoa which he said was delicious and the avocado crepe. He really enjoyed them.

Great vegan crepes - Edit
A small, cozy Vegan-Organic cafe, well located near Shimokitazawa station, they serve nice smoothies, shakes, crepes and a couple of more desserts and soft drinks. I tried the blueberry smoothie and the chocolate, butter crepes. The crepes (mine and also the other flavors my friends got it), were delicious, and cheap, for a vegan option.

Good place - Edit
They don’t really have savory options (lots of sweet options) but everything we tried was delicious! The cafe only has like 6 seats but the atmosphere is good😄

Super lecker - Edit

Tiny but cute vegan cafe! - Edit
Tiny but cute vegan cafe! Only 5 seats inside. You have to order at the entrance so you have to leave the store and then re-enter again. Hey I told you it’s small!

I did not know I needed a vegan crepe and kakigori place in Shimokita until I went here - especially the chai kakigori was a highlight for me! Staff was super lovely too!

Delicious coffee and pancakes - Edit
I got the Anko butter pancakes and they were delicious!! Very well balanced with sweetness and a very slight saltiness from - I think - the butter. The cafe latte also had a very good ratio of coffee to milk (less milk than your usual Tokyo latte). The owner speaks great English.

Great new cafe in the shimokitazawa area - Edit
Great new cafe in the shimokitazawa area, I arrived a bit late so most of the food was unavailable, but had a lovely crepe and tea. The walnut crepe with butter was amazing, incredibly flavourful! Last order is 1 hour before closing time.

Cosy and Tasty - Edit
Anthrop. is a small, gothic-looking cafe located about 200 meters from the southwest exit of Shimokitazawa Odakyu Station. (If you use the Keio Inokashira Line, it’s just a stone’s throw from the west exit.)
Read moreSince everything on the menu is vegan and organic, I really wanted to try many dishes, but I finally decided on their avocado toast, matcha anko pudding, and African Nectar rooibos tea.
The delicious avocado toast was made with organic whole-wheat campagne bread that melded well with the creamy avocado slices and savoury spices on top. As for the pudding, I really liked their home-made anko (sweet red bean paste), which wasn’t too sweet, unlike the ones you usually run across. The African Nectar rooibos tea was from the Mighty Leaf brand and presented with tropical and sweet notes.
The staff was very friendly and considerate. Considering that all the food is organic, the prices were reasonable. The only downside was that there wasn’t much seating, so there would probably be a wait for tables on the weekend.
I’m going to go back to try the pancakes and crepes!
Pros: Fully vegan, organic and tasty food, Super friendly staff
Cons: Limited seating
