Friendly spot with vegan options - Edit
Delicious vegan French toast. Beautiful presentation. Plant milks, but not soy, for drinks. Also has vegan bowls and oatmeal. Food is reasonably priced, but coffees are somewhat expensive with a 15 peso upcharge for plant-based

What a great find! - Edit
Thanks to Happy Cow for this listing. I was on Isla and tracked down this out of the way cafe. It's also a yoga studio. It's a very peaceful space. The women who run it are excellent and happy. There are a number of vegan options. My favorite was the vegan French Toast. It was smothered in home made current jam, or preserves, and what looked like a powdered sugar dusting was actually finely ground fresh coconut. Another day I had what was called the Vegan Jem or Jewel on the menu. It was a potato and leek pie in a whole wheat crust that was so delicious.
Read moreIt is a block south of the town basketball courts and you can see a round sign. I highly recommend it. Interestingly, while they are also a bakery, I was told there were no vegan baked goods. Other than that, it will now be a regular stop whenever I'm on Isla Mujeres.
Pros: wonderful food, happy service, delicious and nutritious stuff
Cons: vegan baked goods would have been a plus

In this tiny island is really hard to find good vegan or veggie food, and here everything was so amazing. The food, the coffee and also the service were incredibly fantastic. Highly recommended to everyone to get here!🌿🌿🌿🌱🌵🍄
