Tasty Vegan Flavors - Edit
The staff was well aware of the vegan options and gave us a taste of all three. The palette cleanser (ginger and lemon sorbet) is always available and always vegan. There was one vegan option on the menu (hazelnut chocolate, almond milk) and also one in the back they got for us (peanut butter and chocolate, coconut milk). They were nice and the ice cream was delicious. Apparently they have more vegan options in the summer months (more sorbet)

Long review:
My experience with An’s was mediocre at best. Yesterday (10/2), there were two clearly labeled vegan flavors: chocolate hazelnut and golden kiwi. The Kiwi flavor was decent, but I opted for the chocolate hazelnut. Flavor-wise, it was good. But I assume there was an issue because, by the time I finished paying (less than a minute), it already melted everywhere. Due to this, while eating, the texture was not as expected from ice cream, nor did it look like the pictures of the same flavor on HappyCow! It was really odd.
Additionally, due to An’s popularity, there was a decent-sized line. One reason the line takes so long is they allow each person to taste every flavor. However, despite me making it clear I am vegan, they kept offering me nonvegan ice cream to taste (my nonveg boyfriend was happy to get double the samples!). The whole shop was chaotic, and I was not upset, but I had just said I was vegan and then handed a non-vegan flavor. Thankfully, I did not taste it because I knew no vegan flavor was vanilla-based. But, I would be careful when sampling and specifically ask to try by name the vegan flavors to avoid confusion.

Great vegan ice cream options - Edit
Chocolate hazelnut hemp based ice cream, rich, creamy, everything I want in ice cream. There will be a wait, as they offer all flavors for sampling. Pricing is normal for ice cream. There were 3 options available, one was not on the board, as it was their "secret" flavor.

Long wait time for their one expensive vegan option. - Edit
This place used to offer more options for vegans but you're lucky to get a real ice cream option these days. Usually the only option available for vegans is one sobert flavor and you'll have to get it in a cup as there aren't vegan cones available. The one flavor always tastes good but t's also expensive. I spent around $7 for a tiny cup. Service is so slow as a ton of customers insist on sampling every flavor before ordering when there's only one person working behind the counter most times I've been here. Which is wild because this place is popular.
