scared to come back!

Me and my friend Kat just went to our favorite place to eat in Notts: Annie's Burger Shack & Freehouse
And we were extremely disappointed. To start from the beginning, kat went there yesterday and ordered "the Greek" burger vegan. They not only served her burger with dairy cheese but lectured her with a condescending speech on how incredibly wrong she was that they would neeever make that mistake, immediately before actually checking her meal and admitting it was in fact not vegan. The manager handled the situation and it was all resolved.
We were back today, ordered some food (same Greek burger for kat and a philly cheese for me, also vegan)
they recognised her and we mentioned jokingly that it was to be really vegan this time.
They brought my burger with ingredients missing and kats burger with dairy, yet again.
We asked very politely to double check with the kitchen because maybe from the day before we were just being paranoid.
The chef then stomped out of the kitchen and borderline shouted at us shoving the tub of vegan yogurt in our faces and turning his back with an angry tone and challenging "Are you satisfied now?"
We were shocked and felt harrassed for being vegan and made to feel wrong or picky at a place that prides itself for being really inclusive. In a case of actual dairy allergy that would be grounds for a law suit and shutting down of the premises.
As a chef I must say, that if one of my kitchen managers pulled some [censored] like that they would be on the street.
We were completely put off our meals and decided to walk away, kat feeling actually sick from it.
The front of house manager Adam dealt with it the best he could and tried to contain the situation and keep us appeased, never the less it is highly disrespectful. And we are so upset because again, its our favorite place, we go there 3 to6 times a month for the past year or so, and after this incident we are honestly not keen on ever coming back.
We walked down the Alley Café to have some proper safe vegan burgers for half the price I might add.
It comes back to vegans not actually feeling safe that chefs will take the time and care to respect their dietary requirements in a place that is not fully catered to them.
As far at Annies go, still love their burgers but not a place I would come back to or recommend since their kitchen can't be trusted.

Got food poisoned

No idea where these amazing reviews are coming from. First of all, our food took about 50 minutes to come. Secondly, everything was drenched in oil and very very salty. Seriously, out of all vegan-friendly junk food places I've been to this has to be the dirtiest one. It's great that there's so many vegan options but they could really put more focus on quality rather than quantity. My partner couldn't even finish her food as her stomach started feeling dodgy. I myself felt alright... until the next morning. I spent the entire day vomitting out the meal I had and felt the worst I've ever felt. I had diarrhoea and fever for the entire day. I got a food poisoning, which in theory should be almost impossible to get from vegan food.
