More sweet than savory options - Edit
Customer service was really good. I had the black bean quesadilla. For the price (especially with tip), this was extremely expensive for what I got. It should have included even a small green salad. Flavors were good but I could have made this at home for much less. I’m not a big sweet eater, but they had a variety of cookies, pancakes, etc on menu that would satisfy someone with a sweet tooth.

Not sure how I feel about it - Edit
The cookies are huge and were great, but I got the crispy chicken sandwich and even after reading the menu description it was not what I expected. Was cubes of tofu with pesto (which was good) and savory granola (which was a little strange but kind of worked?) and a slice of cheese. When asked for my choice of side I chose chips, and got nacho chips with a dipping sauce of cheese. The bread on the sandwich was probably one of the better GF breads I'd had, but I'm not GF.
Read moreOverall expensive, a sandwich and three cookies was $45 before tip. But it's GF as well as vegan so maybe that's about right? I'm used to paying $12-15 for a sandwich/side and maybe $5 at most for a cookie
Pros: Good desserts , Friendly staff
Cons: Menus are descriptive but not, Pricey

Wonderful staff and environment, mid cheesecake? - Edit
We ordered the funfetti cheesecake and it was very pretty and a generous slice. Taste-wise, it was too rich for me. For me, more is more, not necessarily good. Still, kudos to them for having a fully vegan spot and gluten free. The staff was super nice and they had a range of options. Perhaps it just wasn’t for me!

Some Good, Some Not So Good. - Edit
First the good: It’s a cute location with a lot of menu options. The sandwiches we tried were good and had a lot of flavor. Pancakes were also tasty.
Read moreThe Not So Good: Coffee/tea drinks were average at best, not really a lot of flavor. They tasted very watered down. The nachos reminded everyone of something you’d throw in the microwave at home when you’re in a hurry—a pile of chips with some cheese sprinkled on and a small blob of toppings in the center. The menu descriptions sounded great and both orders were a big let down. In fact my teen said “I can do better than this at home”. Finally, the staff was just a disappointing as the nachos. Not as familiar with the menu as they should be, dismissive, argumentative, and frankly just rude.
Pros: Large menu, Sandwiches, Cookies
Cons: Staff , Nachos , Coffee/tea beverages

If you love cookies, you will love Annie O'Loves - Edit
We did a quick stop at Annie O'Loves for some tea/coffee and of course cookies! The cookies are BIG and most of us could not finish one but they come in easy to close plastic bags and saving for a future snack was easy. We brought home some of the pimento vegan cheese that they make on site and it was delicious! We would definitely visit again.

Fun & Delicious - Edit
My family (longtime vegetarians) and my brother's family (not at all vegetarian) were exploring Charleston. I was hoping that the cafe would have some things that my brother's family could enjoy. I had looked Annie O Loves up here on Happy Cow, but the menu descriptions of the savory foods made me skeptical. However, so many of the reviews here stated that it was best to give their food a try; that everything tasted better than it sounds. So true! I really enjoyed everything that I tasted, even though I was pretty doubtful about some of the flavor combinations. My niece is newly gluten-free and very picky. It took her two tries to find something she liked, but at last she settled on the Avocado toast and loved it! The painted upstairs loft with games was a great place to eat with multiple children.

Not very good - Edit
I love the decor and atmosphere and the staff were so friendly.
Read moreThe good was not very good though.
Had the Mac daddy Sammie, the flavour Flav and the chezdilla.
The Mac daddy tofu was super good but the sandwich didn't really work for me. Too many flavours and very greasey.
The nachos were not good at all. But I did like the pineapple.
The chezdilla was pretty good. We got the smokey cheese sauce with it which was very good.
I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie.
I'd come back for just the Mac daddy tofu and a cookie but nothing else.

Vegan Delight! - Edit
This restaurant surpassed our expectations. The sandwiches were exploding with flavor and so out of the ordinary. The cookies were the perfect blend of flavor, texture, and sweetness. We ordered the Macdaddy Crispy Chick'n, the Sassy Grilled Cheese, and bought two cookies to go: Cookie Monster and Sweet & Salty Gangsta O'love. YUM!!!

I was so impressed with the food. I ordered the Mac Daddy Chick'n Sammy which was so full of flavors. Got the salad as my side then got the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. I haven't even tried my cheesecake yet but I'm excited to try it since the other food was good. I cannot wait to go again!

Delicious! - Edit
The cookies look phenomenal, but we came for the sandwiches. My husband and I were both very happy with our choices. My husband had the Spicy Chick’n Avocado and I had the Sassy Grilled Cheese with a chocolate chip cookie. Next time we come back we’ll save room for some of the special cookies in the dessert case.

Unique & flavorful spot - Edit
Was very excited to see an ALL vegan spot(always am)! Got the “chicken and waffles” which was packed with multiple unique flavors,, was a little dense(and quite $$) but pretty good, worth trying but I wouldn’t get again. Would definitely go back though to try some cookies and drinks(as their menu was huge!) The service was efficient but not as friendly and personal as I had hoped. The murals everywhere were really nice and fun😄
