Rude staff and not so many options

The staff was not helpful with the vegan options (the waiter didn’t know if the vegetable tagine was vegan and he told me it was vegetarian. It turned out that was vegan…). I got a pita with falafel and hummus and it was fine, as the food that my friends ordered.
The place is really nice and cozy tho, especially for couples or small groups.

Tasty but cold food

We went to get some lunch and ordered a mezze for 2 with 6 different things. Most of the things were fridge cold, which was a shame. I think, it would have tasted better, if it was just a bit warm.
Despite that, I really liked the fried zucchini and fried eggplant. The falafels were warm and tasted good, but nothing extraordinary.
We also ordered homemade pita bread as an extra but it was a small portion (this was served hot though).
All in all it tasted good, but could have been better and it was a small portion to share. For the price I don't think it was worth it. 🙃

Authentic Moroccan food

The food at Annette is very flavourful and delicious, staff are super lovely and know exactly which dishes are vegan and which aren't (the menu is in BG & English, but you never know).

The garden is very cozy, especially at night with the many lights and it really feels like you're escaping the city.

There is a lot of choice in my opinion and you really can't go wrong with some nice taboueh & falafel.

Pros: Many vegan options, Friendly staff

Best falafels in town!

I always get falafels- no one makes them better! The eggplant with tahini is also amazing. Super friendly staff, great location- especially if it’s warm enough for the garden. Go with friends or on a date and order a lot and share! That’s the best way to experience the place.

Pros: Vegan options, Delicious food, Great service and location

Cons: Cash only

Mixed

Few options — essentially salads, and meat dishes without the meat. Hummus was wonderful, tagine very blah, and service was pleasant but slow and did it speak any English. Make sure you pronounce hummus hoo-moose to avoid confusion.

Pros: Nice hummus

Cons: Slow, Limited variety

Multiple vegan options

Sofia is not the best city for vegan people, but Annette could be a very good option, with the Lebanese food. I could taste a few dishes and I liked. The restaurant is cosy and was a good filing.

Pros: Very good quality, Good price, Lovely restaurant and people

Cons: You should go with time.
