Unexpected happiness

Anna’s House had delicious vegan options. I loved having a special section on the menu. I ordered 2 meals, one to eat in the cute diner atmosphere and one to bring home. So good I almost forgot to take a photo. I will go back when in the area.

Pros: Varied options, Special care to ensure it was vegan, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Prices were a little high, Upcharge for vegan options

good vegan options

May 2024 update
Ordered the "Big Breakfast" - 3 pancakes, 3 vegan sausage patties, a bit of scrambled egg (just egg?), toast and hash browns. coffee with oat milk.
Upsell for oat milk = $0.75, UPSELL FOR EARTH BALANCE BUTTER = $1. I received a smidgeon of butter for both the pancakes and toast so I asked for more. Server Kennedy did NOT mention butter upsell, even though entire order was vegan. Didn't find out until bill came and the added fees for butter (oat milk I knew about). No where on the menu does it mention butter upsell. I asked if dairy butter had an upsell, told it didn't. If you're going to offer vegan entrees at $15+, least you can do is offer the vegan butter as well.
Egg was scrambled soft, toast was toast, hash browns were separate strands of overcooked potato, pancakes were good.
SLOW and rude server.
---------------------------------------
2018:
Separate vegan menu with about 10 choices for breakfast and lunch. Had the vegan scramble made with Just Egg, Impossible sausage and Follow Your Heart cheese. Very good but a bit runny and bland. Once I threw some salt and ketchup on, yummy.
Cute decor (50s diner vibe) with graphics of local places, found objects and great 50s music in the background.

Dominique was a great server!

Pros: separate vegan menu, music

Cons: needs more seasoning, VEGAN UPSELL FOR EVERYTHING

Great food (Vegan) Breakfast Choices

This place has great vegan breakfast and brunch food. They come up as “vegan options” but they have a whole menu section of “only vegan” combo choices! The staff also knows to guide you away from non-vegan choices such as some toast.
The Happy Cow description doesn’t do justice to all of the choices. Please look at their website for updates.
One thing not in the description is a choice of SIX fresh-pressed juices! I have tried 2 and look forward to trying them all.
I’ve been traveling in Michigan lately and will be trying more of their restaurants. I can’t wait for them to open up a restaurant in Milwaukee.

Our Fav Breakfast Place

We love dining in at Anna’s when it’s not insanely busy. They have a “vegan” section on their menu and one for kids as well which I appreciate. This way I don’t need to worry about customizing my order. My whole family is vegan and we all love Anna’s vegan dishes. I really love the Chipotle Southwest bowl but everything is good. Their service is top notch as well. I just wish we had an Anna’s near us in Novi or Northville area. Hope to see more vegan lunch options. Maybe Anna’s will open an “all vegan” restaurant in the future (one can dream 😉). Thank you to all at Anna’s House for caring about vegans and offering amazing vegan dishes!! 💚🌱

Update 10/12/22: I was just informed by the waitress that the chocolate chips used for the kids pancakes are not vegan. But the funfetti ones are vegan. I’m a lil annoyed by this bc that’s what we’ve been ordering since it’s listed as vegan and bc it’s so easy to just swap the cruelty-filled ones with Enjoy Life vegan chocolate chips.

Excellent vegan brunch

It was incredible to see all the vegan options they offer and how flexible they can be in modifying any dishes.
The kid's vegan menu is a treat for any family. All food tasted good and fresh. We had a blast. It would be perfect if it were a 100%vegan restaurant.
Recommend the visit to you all.

Cons: Still serves meat

Bring on the vegan chipotle aioli!

This meal was so delicious. The atmosphere was great and our server was very friendly. I had so many options to chose from, a problem I am thankful for! I would definitely return to try the other vegan options. I ordered the quesadilla, an offering I don’t usually see as a vegan. All of the ingredients blend so well. I was scared that it would be a small serving, but it was large and filling. The jalapeños aren’t hot but the perfect addition. If you get the chance I’d recommend trying Anna’s House!

Pros: Chipotle aioli, Lots of vegan options

Cons: Not fully vegan menu, More than $12 per entre

I wish I lived closer. I was extremely impressed with both the amount of vegan options as well as the food itself. The atmosphere and decor was great, too.

Unstoppable Vegan Breakfast

While I don’t want to overstate things, as I only had their simple Vegan French Toast and some black coffee, Anna’s House goes above and beyond to accommodate for their vegan visitors. Arguably too many vegan options are listed on their own, separate, beautifully designed, menu - which was nonchalantly offered without me even asking for it! In a world where a decent vegan breakfast proves to be the hardest meal of the day to procure outside my own kitchen, Anna’s House not only exceed my expectations, it astronomically excelled to the highest heights of vegan breakfast cuisine; the Vegan French Toast was, simply, flawless. My only critique comes with a caveat - remember this isn’t your local, small batch, coffee roaster we are talking about. Their classic black coffee (both regular and decaf), which I consider to be a diner staple, tasted under-extracted to the point of sourness and is in dire need of an overhaul. Barring that, Anna’s House proved to be this early morning diner’s dream come true.

Excellent vegan options!

They have a large selection of vegan breakfast/brunch options here. I had a southwest skillet and a pancake and both were delicious. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive. There are no vegan breakfast options near where I live, so a short drive is so worth it for quality food!

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Anna's House

Anna's House has several vegetarian dishes that can be prepared vegan. They even have several vegetarian / vegan breakfast dishes. They are a breakfast lunch place. So, they are open 6 am to 3 pm. Every time I have been there they were busy. Several times we have had to wait 15 to 30 minutes to get a table.
