The Best Breakfast - Edit
They’ve been voted best breakfast in Michigan for a reason! The fact that there is a chain restaurant offering this many vegan options blows my mind. It is enough to be a full menu. Oh, also everything is EXCELLENT and the servers are helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

Bland food, not very impressed - Edit
There were a lot of options, however, I ordered the hippy hash with an English muffin. The hash wasn't bland and even needed salt. The English muffin wasn't an English muffin at all, just a piece of bread that wasn't even toasted. The bread didn't have any vegan butter on it even though I requested it. My order was a to go order so by the time I discovered the dry bread, it was too late. Probably won't be going back.

Cons: Bland food, English muffin was just regular bread., Bread wasn't toasted and no vegan butter on it

Something for everyone! - Edit
Really enjoyed having many whole food plant based options on the menu. My daughter enjoyed the many choices for her as well. And plan to come back with a gluten free friend since there are well marked options for her as well!

In love with the breakfast burrito… - Edit
One of only two vegan breakfast options in the area and the only one open on weekends. They have lots of all vegan options. I’m stuck on the breakfast burrito & mocha latte with almond milk. Hubby likes the chai latte with almond milk. The guac & salsa that come with the burrito is decent for an American restaurant.

Get your "egg" fix here - Edit
The Ann Arbor location has a cold, too-bright, 1950s diner feel, but you'll overlook that when you see the many generously portioned vegan breakfast options. They use Just Egg (unfortunately a product sold in plastic bottles...) to make breakfast burritos and scrambles that are top-notch. Breakfast and lunch only; potentially long wait times so get in line on their app to avoid this.

Cons: Atmosphere is a little aseptic, Potentially long wait times

Great vegan friendly diner - Edit
Anna’s house has some of the best ambience I’ve seen. They have a vegan section and many of the menu items are veganisable. The menu items are clearly marked as Vegan, Dairy free etc.

Food was bland, but has multiple vegan options - Edit
They have a separate vegan area on the menu which is the only reason why I gave a 3 star rating. Solely based on taste, it would be a 2 star from me. The food was pretty bland and the hash browns I got were very salty. The only thing I liked was the sweet potato fries. Everything was also super oily and it did hurt my tummy a little. My burrito was just…bland mush…I thought I would try this place again after going vegan (it was bland the last time too), but now I don’t think there will be a next time.

If that is supposed to be cheese in the burrito, it does not look melted at all :(

Okay Breakfast - Edit
Typical American veganized breakfast with a little extra grease. I got the big breakfast but would skip next time and play it safe with the waffle.

Okay if you've never had better - Edit
I appreciate that Anna's House offers so many vegan options. That said, I think the food has a lot to improve upon. I ordered pancakes with sausage and eggs and my partner had french toast- all from the vegan menu. Everything but the sausage tasted like what I remember from the 2000's before we had the plethora of plant based options we do now. E.g. Not sure if Anna's is using egg substitute from the 90's, but something like "Just Egg" would be way better. I'd skip this one if you're a vegan.

Amazing vegan breakfast - Edit
The service was amazing, portions were huge, and the food was delicious. Pancakes and waffles are gluten free and might be the best I’ve ever had. Very reasonable pricing as well. Saved as a favorite and highly recommended.

All began and vegetarian items are cooked with meat - Edit
There is no separate area for vegan or vegetarian items. They are on the same grill, no separation, and the same utensils are used for all. Burgers are cooked on the grill above the vegan food. I watched burger fat drip down onto beyond sausages. I mentioned this to managers and they did not care at all and had no interest in creating a separate cooking area for vegan items. The ONLY vegan item is the kale chips. Everything else is contaminated by being cooked alongside meat.

Huge vegan menu! - Edit
(Leaving this review, but I no longer eat here as the company donates to re-elect Trump.)
Read moreBiggest vegan breakfast menu I've seen at a non-vegan place. Separate menu, but we didn't have to ask for it.
Menu has sweet and savory.
Food is decent. Some things are bland (hippie hash), and the lack of vegan butter is anonying (dry toast is your only vegan option).
I'd still come here, but there are way better places (but not any that are open early).
Pros: Open early!, Lots of choices
Cons: No vegan butter (for toast or pancakes/waffles), Bland flavors in some dishes

I will not give money to a restaurant who in turn donates it to a president who couldn't care less about the environment or animals. Pitiful.

I would eat exclusively here for the rest of my life - Edit
By far the most amazing vegan breakfast I have ever had. Anna's House is just veg friendly, but man are they friendly. There was a whole separate menu with all vegan options and I was in heaven.
Read moreSadly they were out of Beyond Sausage when I was there, but my amazing dish made up for it. Underneath of many avocado slices, JustEgg, and Follow Your Heart cheese was delicious veggies and potatoes.
If I lived near this place I would never eat anywhere else. Breakfast food really lacks when your vegan but this was everything I ever could have asked for.
They even had vegan butter for my toast!!! Dead.

Yummy! - Edit
This place is so amazing. It caters to every dietary need and the vegan menu is superb. Most places struggle with having a vegan breakfast menu but this felt like I wasn't having to give up anything! I got the tinga tostadas and it was so yummy. They use substitutes like Follow Your Heart egg, cheese, and sausage. The prices are kinda high, but portion sizes are really good and I left satiated- plus I consider this place to be more of a treat than I place I come to regularly. I'm just really grateful for a place with extensive vegan options.

Vegan breakfast/brunch! - Edit
Awesome and unique vegan breakfast options, which are little hard to come by in The Narbs. Use Just Eggs and Impossible meats for extra variety. They handed me the vegan menu as well as the normal one without asking for it. Pancakes and waffles are gluten free too - OMG! Tons of seating but it was busy so get on the Yelp wait-list before heading down there. Espresso drinks are tasty and they have soy and almond milk. They have about seven locations in Michigan. I ate at the Holland location last year and don't remember the vegan menu being there. Way to go Anna's!
