Brief stop in Chantilly

Part of the joy of traveling is stopping at random restaurants without knowing what to expect. I found Anita's close to the venue we were visiting. I went in not knowing much about New Mexican cuisine, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my burrito smothered in green sauce. There were also many vegetarian options which is great. The restaurant was as beautiful as it was clean.

Pros: Vegan & Vegetarian options, Customizable menu items, Clean establishment

Vegan burrito

Not only was the breakfast burrito very good (I added guacamole), but their early morning hours—even on Sundays!— are appreciated. Especially after a 9 hr flight without food! I ordered online from Dulles and arrived in 10 min; my food was waiting for me. Drive-thru and dine in options make it alll around convenient. Will have to come back to try other options.

Breakfast burrito was great

Vegan breakfast burrito was great, especially considering the price. Easily the best deal in town for vegan food. Vegan selections are rather limited but it’s enough for a simple meal when I’m in town.

The food was not good.

The server was pleasant, but the food was not. I ordered the smothered veggie platter and added vegan sausage. The vegan sausage was the only thing I ate. The vegetables were soft and extremely spicy. I like spicy, but the flavor did not mix well. The plantain platter was basic (rice, beans, meat) and was small.

Pros: Service

Cons: Veggie platter, Portion size, Ambience

Go to breakfast

My favorite is the potato breakfast burrito (no cheese, add refried beans). My son loves the sausage vegano burrito- it comes with LOTS of veg sausage! This is our go to for cheap eats in our area.

Pros: Convenient- order online and drive thru, Beans are the best , Quick and friendly service
