Serves meat, vegan options available. Vegans can bring your own cheese and the kitchen will put it on your pizza. Arcade games inside. Plenty of seating. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-9:00pm.
They made me a nice veggie pizza with no cheese at all without any fuss. No vegan cheese options available, but honestly it's better this way. Was busy and slow.
We finally got our hands on Miyoko’s new pizza mozzarella and Angelo’s was more than happy to make our pizzas with it! They were delicious, the kids (and adults) love playing in the arcade and the overall atmosphere and service is top notch! Give them a try, you’ll be back 🌱
Use the same grill and oven as non vegan/flesh items. Yea you can bring your own cheese, but the crust and sauce are gmos and of the lowest quality. Nice arcade room and very spacious.
We were really glad to find a pizza place this far down on the OBX -- not near Nags Head / Kill Devil Hills, in other words -- where we could have a vegan pizza. We had to bring our own Daiya shreds, but that's okay. The girl behind the counter took our bag of Daiya as if it's something she does all the time; no having to explain ourselves, no hesitation on her part. If you like a lot of 'cheez' bring two bags with you. The crust was a little dough-y, as others have mentioned, but otherwise it was an okay pizza. Not the best, not the worst, but we were glad to have it as an option in an area not overflowing with vegan eateries.
We ate at Angelo's in June 2015. They have a Foosball table, which my wife really loved.
After reading the review here about bringing your own vegan cheese, I decided to give it a shot too. I bought a bag of daiya cheese from the local supermarket and the staff didn't hesitate to accommodate me. I got the veggie pizza and it was pretty good! Little doughy and the sauce wasn't spectacular but I feel like I can't complain due to the lack of veg places in the area. My non-veg counterparts ordered some other things from the menu and enjoyed all of them. Great place for a vegan who doesn't feel like cooking for the night!
Really disappointed. Ordered a vegan pizza (all veggies no cheese). Staff was nice but food not good. Sauce was like tomato sauce from a can. Crust very white flour and doughy.
Good pinball. Nice people. Maybe good pepperoni pizza for a kid but last choice for an adult vegan.
I took a chance and brought a bag of vegan cheese with me and politely asked if they would make me a veggie pizza with it. They didn't even hesitate. The pizza was delicious! After I went over to Uncle Eddies for a mango sorbet. Yum yum! Who knew a vegan could eat so well in the little town of Buxton, NC. I also recommend staying at the Lighthouse View when you visit.
