8 vegan flavors plus baked treats - Edit
Great variety and selection of vegan options. Love that there’s a case just for vegan flavors and that the sugar cones are vegan. One scoop was very generous here, and this is an ice cream shop I’ll be remembering for awhile.

Legit vegan ice cream options! - Edit
They had several vegan flavors to pick from and I tried a couple and they were so good! There were creamy options, not just sorbets. I ended up going with a seasonal flavor “Snowhopper” which was a minty chocolate with brownie pieces in it…so damn good! I got a vegan brownie on my way out too…it was ok but I’d probably skip it next time. It was from the cold case, so it might have been better if I waited for it warm up/come to room temperature…but that kind of willpower is not one of my super powers. 🙃

Whole vegan section - Edit
Angela’s had 7 different vegan options, and had vegan cones too. The ice cream was delicious and I really enjoyed supporting a local joint!

Good options - Edit
There were 7 options when we went. Tried “Maxima” which is a sugar free Dutch chocolate (not a fav) and cookies n cream (delicious!) which had chunks of cookie in it. Yum’ great customer service and didn’t take long at all to get our ice cream.

So delicious! - Edit
Lala's vegan ice cream is probably in my top three ice creams ever, vegan or not. The texture is fantastic, creamy and dense, and the flavors are great, too.
Read moreNow that I've gone quite a few times, I guess I wish there were slightly more variety in what vegan flavors they have, but on the other hand I could probably quite happily just have the grasshopper or golden turmeric for the rest of my life, so I'm not going to complain!
The sugar cones are vegan, apparently. Haven't tried the brownies/cookies but they look good.

Surprising! - Edit
We have been wanting to go here for a long time and we were incredibly surprised by the six or seven vegan flavors of ice cream also gluten free and one with sugar-free sweetened with monk fruit. Everything is made in house and most ingredients are organic this is a must place to go for a great ice cream or even a milkshake made from almond milk.

Good - Edit
They usually have a couple vegan options available and their vegan fudge sauce is really good! I was told by a worker that their cones weren’t vegan which was disappointing.

Had two vegan ice creams when we visited. Both were delicious but we had to wait 15 minutes to get our cones. Visit during a weekday so you don’t have to wait so long.

Blast from the past with vegan options. - Edit
This is a local family-owned business run with love.
Read moreLala’s Creamery has a convenient downtown Petaluma location, but it’s easy to miss this nostalgic gem of an ice cream parlor. Skip the Starbucks and go directly across the street to Lala’s. This is an ice cream lover’s dream with old-fashioned styling and friendly service. The often-occurring long line gives you time to make a selection. Vegans always seem to have 3-4 flavors to choose from, as well as several vegan-friendly toppings. Wait! There’s even vegan baked goods. Around these parts, that’s a so very rare thing to spy in any food establishment. Petaluma is so not LA, the vegan capitol of the world.
However, when you are in Petaluma, you must stop in at Lala’s for some organic, made in-house vegan ice cream and/or a vegan brownie or cookie. Or order a vegan ice cream and cookie sandwich with vegan-friendly toppings. At a vegan ice cream social, I managed to attract everyone’s attention with my over-the-top order of almond joy vegan ice cream surrounded by two warm vegan chocolate chip cookies all rolled in crushed Oreo cookies.
Pros: Brownie and cookie options for vegans., Friendly staff., Nostalgic ice cream parlor atmosphere.
Cons: Long lines (but worth the wait!)., Serves dairy.

good vegan options - Edit
This has been one of my fav ice cream places. Been coming here before starting to eat vegan and only found out they always have 3-4 vegan ice creams. Tried the blackberry sorbet last night.
