Lovely meal

After trying to get a table at a few other establishments nearby we were directed this way because it seems to be the only place in Dunmow that serve food around 4pm despite what they tell you online. I actually think they did us a favour.

The place itself is a lot more appealing and cosy than others we tried.

We were greeted straight away by a lady who asked if we had any allergies or dietary requirements (very good sign for us folk). On mentioning we were vegan, the waitress highlighted a few options on the menu - I think they had something under each sub section. Soup starter, nut roast or mushroom steak for main, pizza or burger from what I can recall. Not sure about dessert. They also had a vegan option of tomato pasta on the kids menu which I usually find difficult to come by.

Service was prompt and friendly despite being short staffed.

Food was delicious.

Had we not been in such a rush I would've enjoyed staying longer.

Would return if in the area again.
