Disappointed due to other reviews - Edit
We went here as the previous reviews were so good and mentioned a vegan menu and more than 5 options. Granted, these reviews are a couple of years old, so things are bound to change in that time! There are only two vegan mains now, and no vegan menu. There are some very lovely sounding vegetarian options though if that’s what you’re looking for. Classic country pub interior and a few picnic benches outside to sit on. There’s parking just outside the pub which is handy!

Would give 5* stars if I could! At least 5 vegan options including dessert on the main menu and generally a couple more on the specials board too. Very accommodating staff who make sure to check whether you eat dairy/ are vegan/ etc when you order and outline all the options. Beautiful little pub in an equally beautiful setting. We are planning to come again x

Lovely little find - Edit
Came here before seeing the lights, and was wonderfully surprised. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and the vegan options on the menu. Food was great and even had deserts which is a pleasant find. Definitely recommended if you're in the area :)

Local local pub with nice food - Edit
Good is hearty and really decent sized portions. Chips are good. Ordered sausage and mash but they only had mash made with butter so had chips instead. This was fine as chips are very good. No desserts except ice cream. Sausages are nice and burger is good too. Nice little local pub, was quite busy. Staff are very friendly

The pizza and vegan cheese aren't on the menu anymore. But there was 4 options to choose from. Had the vegan bangers and mash which was delicious. Lovely little pub in a beautiful part of the world

Excellent food and friendly staff with a good knowledge of allergen related food options. All dishes are cooked fresh and the chef is always happy to make changes. Great atmosphere and also dog friendly:)
