Upscale, Nice Night Out - Edit
While Andina has a select set of vegetarian and vegan options and they don’t rotate quickly,, the quality is high and it’s a great way to experience Peruvian cuisine. The atmosphere is classy. The passion fruit moose cannoli that they had pre-pandemic was to die for. You need to make reservations here.

Although im blessed for any vegan options I don’t like when vegan options are kinda given to us like bread crumbs from a toxic ex.

6 - Flavor
3 - Texture was rushed French fries instead of actual potatoes was weird to me. No sliced mushrooms also.
4 - Presentation
0 - Price $32 for French fries and rice
If they crafted their dish more I would probably come back.
But the French fries dish is a no for me dawg.
Pros: Local

Still great after all these years - Edit
We went to Andina for the first time in years, and the first time as vegans. We were pleasantly surprised that there were several options. The gnocchi dish is particularly delicious. Our server told us it used to not be a vegan dish but the chef modified it to make it vegan and liked it better that way! Great to see local chefs experimenting with adding more vegan options! Great place to go with non-vegan friends if they need to have some animals.

Restaurant A+, Food D- - Edit
Andina is a cool restaurant. You feel cool when you walk in the door, and even as a solo diner I was treated very well by all the staff. I really wanted to like this place! But for starters my drink wasn’t tasty. Maybe I just didn’t order well? I had the yuca croquettes for a starter, and they were good. But the only vegan entree, the hongos saldaldos, were a total miss. (BYW, if there was a separate vegan menu, they didn’t offer it to me). So salty as to be basically inedible. Such a disappointment.

Elevated Peruvian Cuisine - Edit
It’s challenging to find delicious vegan Peruvian food, Andina has Hongos Saltados among a few others clearly listed. Excellent flavors and local ingredients. They use high quality organic ingredients sourced locally or directly from Peru.

Great Peruvian Meal - Edit
This restaurant did a great job of keeping everyone happy in a family with some vegans & some dedicated meat eaters. The atmosphere was upscale but casually comfortable. The food was Peruvian, which required a sense of adventure, because even after a discussion w/ the server, none of us were sure what to expect. However, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food! There was an entire vegetarian/vegan menu, with most options available in a vegan form.
Read moreWe thoroughly enjoyed our evening! This destination required advanced planning. Even though we booked several days in advance dinner times available were limited to 5 or after 9 pm.

Good vegetarian & vegan options - Edit
Very nice restaurant. Great service but happily not overly formal. Vegetarian & vegan friendly with menu options clearly marked & knowledgeable staff. We has tres salsas con p an which was good, quinotto de hongos, hongos saltado, chicha morada & sorbet which they provided for my wife's birthday. We enjoyed the food - creative & tasty. they charged $3 to split the main dishes which we did not like though. Overall, a great place to dine for a cuisine you won't find often & a creative menu.
