authentic turkish experience! - Edit
i've been to turkey, and i really enjoyed this turkish food! i've had it many times, catered for school events, but i hadn't been inside until this weekend. they have lovely decor and lighting, and both a seating area with tables and a raised seating area with a rug and pillows, for which you need to remove your shoes. exactly how it is in turkey, it's an experience that transports you to a different culture. i think we caught them on a bad day because they forgot our hummus and they messed up my saksuka bowl (it was still good!), but still four stars because their food is actually delicious (especially the hummus), and they have a very clearly labelled vegan section, absolutely tasty juices, and i just really love it. my omni friends also enjoyed everything!

The restaurant needs some work. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The chef was yelling about something in the kitchen which was awkward. Food wasn't very good and was served in styrofoam containers. The waitress held my cup by the rim to refill it after she had been handling cash at the register which really grossed me out. We won't be back.

Best place for vegan food in Bloomington - Edit
Anatolia has an amazing, vegan-friendly menu with many options (and the best bread you will ever eat). My favorite is the Happy Vegan Combo...unlimited bread, rice, soup, salad, and roasted potatoes and veggies (best deal in town). The lunch buffet is also awesome.

Vegan Friendly + BUFFET! - Edit
Check out the lunch buffet - super varied and usually labeled well. Several great menu items as well. Cozy atmosphere and outdoor seating! Hot tea too.
