Overrated - Edit
I very much enjoyed Anastasia the first time I ate there. I believe it is one of the older vegan establishments in Tel Aviv but as I have dined there more often I find the menu limited and many of the offerings not very tasty. Plus which it is quite expensive and the staff is not nice (ok, I'm an older women who tends to go there alone but still...). Now that there are so many vegan restaurants in Tel Aviv I wonder why this one continues to be popular.

Fantastic restaurant that exceeded ALL expectations!!! - Edit
Best food and service in Tel Aviv. Delicious and nutritious!
Read moreWhen being served the cheese platter we were told to let them know if we wanted more cheese. At the end of our three-course dinner we were treated some fantastic cinnamon-Danish-pastry. The staff was so attentive and knew exactly what they were serving and the nutritious value of the ingredients.
This is definitely a must-visit when in Tel Aviv.
Pros: excellent food, attentive and friendly staff, large portions
Cons: none

Vegan Heaven - Edit
I would have liked to bring my non-vegan friends here to have them try this delicious food!
Read moreThis place is always crowded and you will have to wait to be seated (nice touch: water dispenser to hydrate while waiting); if you go alone like I did you will most probably get a seat at the bar inside (which is a bit tight to get to but still cozy when you sit).
It was really hard to choose from the menu (which is not too long) and everything looked absolutely fantastic, but I decided to try the breakfast with omelette, salad, bread and six different spreads - it was so delicious I would have ordered more.
Nice patio outside with coolers and shades.
I will definetely come back next time I am in Tel Aviv!
Pros: Amazing taste and presentation, Breakfast can be ordered also for lunch time, Friendly staff
Cons: Crowded, Place at the bar when eating solo

This place deserves 6 stars. The food is amazing, very original and perfect for vegans as well as non vegans. The menu is limited but everything is absolutely delicious. The staff is really nice and they speak different languages. I’ll go back there to try their breakfast.

Great Food! - Edit
I have been there twice- both amazing! The food is really fresh with mixture of flavours and textures, nicely balanced and well plated.
Read moreI had two salads Soba (their most popular dish since day one) and Sprouted black eyed peas & Sweet potato. Soba was very tasty however the other salad was strangely amazingly delicious- the chef has good culinary imagination.
For my desserts I went as well with the recommendations firstly with a raw ice cream cookie served with hazelnut butter- out of this world, and secondly with the cheesecake literally tase like heaven.
If you have a sweet tooth you just gotta try it!
The service was prompt, competent and very friendly. The space has very relaxed vibe- organic decor, good tune and lots of sunshine when you sitting outside.
It’s not the cheapest place in the town but totally worth it every penny.
I would love to have it back in Scotland.
Pros: Delish, fresh food , Prompt, competent and very friendly staff , Little shop inside

Top in Tel Aviv - Edit
Anastasia is certainly one of the top vegan restaurants in Tel Aviv, offering a good variety of delicious, healthy, plant based dishes. I really enjoyed the mushroom dish, served as a mix of roasted mushrooms on a bed of yellow pea puree. The breafast chickpea omlete, served with a mix of spreads, bread, and salad was also very good. I was less crazy about the vegan shakshuka, enjoying the tomato sauce but not the tofu mock egg. Based on other reviews, I had the warm chocolate cake dessert and was not disappointed. It is also worth mentioning that the portion sizes at Anastasia are generous.
