Anastasia - Edit
At first you look at the menu, it looks quite simple and maybe even condescending, but Anastasia's charm is to know how to make such delicious and invested dishes from what looks like standard food. We ordered the Russian croissant, egg salad and scrambled egg sandwich. The sandwich was excellent, topped with a vegan omelet, fresh vegetables, soft bread and an excellent sauce that combined all the ingredients. The egg salad was amazing, albeit a little expensive but in terms of taste if you craved the authentic taste of an egg salad this is the closest version I have tasted. As for the Russian croissant, the croissant itself was soft, warm and tender but the accompanying potato salad felt a bit bland and that was the only thing that needed more seasoning.

Breakfast at Anastasia. - Edit
I enjoy eating at Anastasia. The service is friendly and efficient. I have found that because as we’re not in our twenties that the wait staff sometimes can be a bit condescending and asking if we’re aware that it’s a vegan coffee shop.
Read moreI love the food choices and most of the time the food is excellent. I do find that the chai tea isn’t consistent. Sometimes it’s a bit more spicy and has a kick. Other times it’s a weaker version.
This time we ordered Shakshuka and an Israeli breakfast. The Israeli breakfast was excellent and I found the Shakshuka to be oily. It was explained to me that the oil is from the garlic confit that is added on top of the tofu and polenta Shakshuka. They did offer to change it but I refused. I’d eaten a lot of it by then.
In the past we’ve ordered the dosa and the soba salad. Amazing! Both were delicious. I dream about that soba salad! I usually add tofu to the salad. Even just writing about it makes me hungry!
We have also ordered the vegan croissant and their cheesecake. The cheesecake was so delicious. You could give it to a non vegan and they wouldn’t know the difference. I personally didn’t like the pastry. That could be because I remember the non vegan version. I’ll try it again in the future and see how it is.
All in all, Anastasia is one of the best vegan places to eat at in Tel Aviv. It can get busy but it’s worth the wait.
Pros: Great delicious food , Variety , Professional kitchen
Cons: Expensive but that’s Tel Aviv.

delicious food - Edit
After one year i came back to Anastasia because i had only one evening in Tel Aviv and I wanted to treat myself. I’m again not disappointed, the cheese platter is so good and the pappardelle i had were also very good. My friends enjoyed their masala dosa. If you want a good seating tho - make a reservation, it’s always full. Staff is always friendly. I really love about Anastasia that the food is healthy but also very delicious. I will be back soon. ♡
