Fabulous Balinese vegan cookery course & food - Edit
I did a morning cookery course here and had what we made for lunch. It was a total feast and all of it was very tasty and delicious Before the course started we did a tour of the organic gardens and picked some of the ingredients. It's a fantastic place. I would love to go back in the future I highly reccomend it.

Bland and overpriced, but a lovely place still - Edit
Wanted to love this place because it's fully vegan and is an amazing farm, really beautiful and clearly a lot of care and attention goes into it. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were very nice. Unfortunately, the food was just very bland and not very high standard, especially considering the price point. We went there twice. The 2nd time we tried more traditional food instead as I thought it was maybe just a bad order choice the day before. We got the Mac and cheese and it was unseasoned and very bland, and the spaghetti, also bland. The 2nd day we got the nasi goreng (which was probably the most tasteless nasi goreng I've had in Indonesia and 4 times the price) and the Tempe steak (which my bf said was awful). The best dish we tried was the fried cassava, but that evening I got terrible bloating, which sometimes happens if cassava is not prepared correctly (needs soaking). Such a shame because we wanted to like the place and it is in lovely surroundings. Both times, we spent over 200k for 2 meals, and I'd much rather have spent 20k in a local warung.

A must visit - Edit
Firstly the location is absolutely stunning. It’s slightly more out of the way but it is 100% worth visiting. Staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive. We stayed in the accommodation so enjoyed a breakfast of fresh coffee, juice, fruit platter, waffles and pancakes. They were delicious and so filling. When we arrived we had the crispy seitan, mushroom nuggets and garlic brocolli which all tasted great. We came back for our final meal and enjoyed a garden roast and a seitan steak. Everything was delicious and we would recommend everyone to visit and to also check out their cooking class and the one room accommodation they provide.

A must visit - Edit
Sidemen is a lovely place on Bali far away from the big crowds of Ubud or Kuta and you can fully experience the amazing vibe of the small town at Anandinii. The restaurant is beautifully nestled away in the rice fields and inside their huge organic garden where most of their produce originates from. They have a large menu from which we tried a good portion of their dishes and loved everything. We also participated in their vegan cooking class which takes place daily over multiple hours and gives you a chance to cook authentic balinese food in their vegan form. An absolutely amazing experience.

Pleasant Setting with Mixed Experiences - Edit
The mains Nasi Goreng Kampung, Bubur Bali, and Nasi Bakar were good with great presentation. The mushrooms in Nasi Bakar had a unique texture, unlike anything I've had before, and it came neatly folded in a leaf.
Read moreHowever, the Crispy Cassava was disappointing and caused horrible bloating, definitely not recommended.
As for desserts, the Pisang Goreng was enjoyable, but the Dadar Gulung was just average, with the sweet nectar having a tangy flavor that was different from the ones I tried in Ubud.
The restaurant itself is set in a lush, green, hilly area, which we found very pleasant.
Pros: Location, All Vegan

Special evening at Anandinii ❤️ - Edit
Anandinii is a must visit in Sideman. When we were exploring the area we came across this restaurant. The entrance is beautiful. You enter by walking through their own organic gardens. The restaurant is a peaceful place with a good spirit. The staff is so friendly and the food is very tasty. There is an wide range of drinks such as kombucca or fresh juices. We will definitely go back.

Perhaps the best cake ever made - Edit
We rode our scooter from Ubud to check this organic farm out, such a lovely ride. An enjoyable walk through large organic gardens to a beautiful tranquil restaurant, we enjoyed a scrumptious meal & sat for such a long time just soaking in the ambience. I had a grilled vegetable salad with sambal, my partner had oats both were yummy. Try the warm drink with cacao & orange with almond milk, & the sticky centred chocolate cake, pure perfection with each mouthful !! The staff are delightful.

We ate here 4 times in 2 days. It was all very tasty and the people treat you like royalty, they are very friendly! Everything is vegan and you have a wide choice of different cuisines. The location is also super beautiful, you walk through their vegetable garden to get to the restaurant. The desserts are also delicious, I ordered the lava cake twice!

Such a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting - Edit
The food here is delicious and centres beautifully around vegetables that they have grown themselves in their little farm/allotment. The views all around are incredible. We ended up going 4 times while staying in sidemen and the staff were always so welcoming and let us chill there a bit too.

Great Vegan Restaurant in Sidemen - Edit
We were really happy to find this gem in Sidemen. We did their vegan cooking class as well and we also went for dinner the next day. The food is delicious, they use some ingredients from their organic garden that we got a tour of, which is cool. We had a tomato and lentil soup, vegan quesadilla, bliss bowl, thai green curry, 2 huge coconuts and a chocolate lava cake. Everything was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. We hope their vegan business thrives in the futures.

Vegan food that feeds the soul. - Edit
Beautifully located in wonderland Sidemen Bali this restaurant will touch your heart and soul. A large amount of the ingredients are grown in their bountiful and pristinely kept garden. We had the “garden roast” and the “bliss bowel” both excellent followed by the best chocolate lava cake I’ve ever had! The home made kombucha is incredible too. Just love this place. #Veganuary
