Tasty vegan ice cream!

I was visiting Door County with a friend for a long weekend, and we spent one day driving up Highway 42 to tour the towns. I was looking out for vegan options along the route and had a hankering for ice cream. I was happy to find that Analog had two vegan options - a strawberry hibiscus sorbet and a vanilla chocolate chip ice cream (I think it was either coconut or oat milk-based or a combo).

I couldn't decide so they kindly offered to let me sample both, which actually made my decision more difficult as they were both delicious. I went with the ice cream and got the "No Sleep 'til Brooklyn" - a scoop of ice cream with a shot of espresso. The cafe had a chill atmosphere, but it was such a nice day we opted for a walk to nearby Sister Bay Beach and enjoyed a fantastic view of the water.

Next time I visit I'll be back to try the vegan burrito and the sorbet!

Pros: Friendly staff, Clearly marked vegan options, Nice location near the water

Must go to

My previous review of this spot was a great. They do have a few nice vegan options, BUT I had the most unfortunate encounter today with the owner. And I left in tears, I was so upset with her rudeness. So I came in here to change my high review to a much lower one, as I will not be returning. If you do go- and get any other worker, they’re great and you’ll have a nice experience, but the owner is in fact very rude, I think that she must not be a people person to start with, so it leaves little room for her patience. if you go, hopefully she won’t be in the front and you won’t have to experience her horrible treatment.

Tasty & reliable

What a saving grace for vegan food in the door peninsula! Summer hours when we visited involved 6:30am openings 7 days/week. The vegan breakfast burrito hit the spot, and there was usually at least 1 vegan baked good available. They also serve ice cream - there was at least 1 flavor available each time we went.

Savory breakfast burrito right downtown

Downtown coffee shop with an excellent Vegan Breakfast Burrito! One of the only vegan savory breakfasts in town. Within a minute walk to a cute beach by the bay.

Vegan milk options, and a vegan muffin!

Would definitely recommend

Pros: Tofu in the vegan burrito is seasoned perfectly, Right downtown and within a minute walk to bay, Vegan muffins!

Cons: Burrito is smaller than expected

Vegan soy ice cream

I’ve only had the vegan ice cream here and it was good but very sweet. Id still recommend if you want vegan ice cream (NOT sorbet) since this is the only option to my knowledge in Sister Bay.

Delicious Vegan Bakery and Ice Cream

Analog is a great little coffee shop in the heart of Sister Bay, WI. They offer three delicious vegan bakery items. A banana chocolate chip muffin, gingerbread scone, and 4 different flavors of bagels. The bagels typically come with butter or cream cheese but you can ask for peanut butter as a substitute. The muffins and scones are also gluten free! They always have one vegan flavor of ice cream/Italian ice. The Italian ice flavors they rotate are raspberry lemon, lemon, and carrot mango. They have also had soy ice creams available. The two I've had were raspberry nebula soy and espresso oreo soy. Both delicious. They also offer two dairy alternatives; oat milk and almond milk. Both are also gluten free. Most of their syrup flavors for coffee drinks are also vegan! The only ones that are NOT vegan are: white chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, pumpkin syrup, and sugar free hazelnut syrup. Their dark chocolate is vegan for mochas! yum. Highly recommend!

Pros: Excellent Vegan Muffins, scones, bagels, & drinks, They are located right in the heart of Sister Bay, The only coffee shop with vegan bakery in town
