An vegan house is my personal favourite vegan restaurant! I had never ever Vegan food that was delicious like that before! For real guys! You definitely need to check this place out! They’re super friendly, the interior is nice and matches perfect to the Vietnamese vibes in there. And the food, [censored] it’s gorgeous!! Everything we tried (and we actually tried a lot) was so good! The quality is amazing and the price is quite normal for this perfect taste, the nice atmosphere and great service!

The atmosphere is very nice, stylish but cozy and very beautiful interior and decoration. The menu is a dream. Our food was pure heaven. Highly recommend. The saigon something cocktail is one of the best I’ve ever had. Prices of the food are adequate while the drinks are quite pricy (even water - 4,50€).

I really miss Vietnamese food and was excited to find out that Hamburg has not one, but two entirely vegan Vietnamese restaurants, wow!
Read moreAn Vegan House is in picturesque Winterhude and, due to limited vegan options there, it was packed when we went! Luckily, we got a table for two on the terrace which was just perfect in the hot summer.
By far the most popular thing to do here is to order a bunch of small dishes and share them. We must have ordered like seven small meals for two people, and I can't even begin to explain just how delicious they were. Absolutely perfect!
And for those who are worried about soy or gluten, there are enough options free of those ingredients as well.
This place is an absolute must when you come to Hamburg, even if it may seem a bit out of your way.
Next time I'll try one of the main dishes!

If you are after a very nice Vietnamese vegan meal in Hamburg, this is the place you should visit. The presentation of the food is perfect and the taste is amazing as well. You can choose between larger mains or smaller tapas-sized dishes and they have some daily specials which is nice for people who come more often.

Already a bad start with this restaurant. I called ahead to reserve a table and was told they don't take reservations. So I asked if this is only for the weekend or in general. I was told they don't take reservations in general. However when we visited on a Sunday there were several tables with reserved signs on it.
Read moreThe menu was very confusing and unfortunately the sizes of the dishes (appetizer or main dish) was not clear from the menu. Additionally from two of the desserts offered, one was not available (pumpkin cake) on the day we visited. We had a green smoothie, that was good, tofu balls that tasted like hardly anything and were quite chewy, a mixed bowl that was good and something wrapped in some leaves, which was okay. There was paper left in both toilets when entering and we found out that was because the flushing system doesn't properly work.

Cons: Confusing menu, one of two dessert choices not available, lacking taste in some food

We went there as a group of 5 and ordered 13 of the small bowls in addition to either rice or noodles as a side for everyone. With drinks and desserts, that worked out at €20 pp.

Full of flavour, different sauces, different textures and overall just really delicious.
The banana in sticky rice for dessert was also a highlight.
In addition to the small bowls, you can also get your own bigger bowl, kinda like ramen or wonton soup - if sharing isn't your thing.
All in all a must visit if you're in Hamburg.

The strange green neon sign on the front and the fact that it is completely vegan didn‘t let me expect that it was so crowded on a Saturday evening. We hardly got a table without a reservation.
Read moreThe interior is quite nice and modern and I assume that the people eating there were mostly locals which are not vegan. The food was great. We chose different little bowls with different dishes. You can count 3-4 bowls per person. Good also to share and try many different things. My favourite was the yellow curry which was served without rice and was more like a soup, very creamy. Everything was very fresh and also the smoothie was delicious.
