Serves meat, vegan options available. Typical Tex Mex cuisine but with vegetarian options, and at least one meal in each category of the menu can be made vegan. The veg nachos and veg burrito can both be made vegan by omitting the cheese and sour creams (will instead give you extra guacamole instead). Two of the soft tacos are vegan. Open Mon-Thu 12:00pm-9:30pm, Fri-Sat 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-9:30pm.

They have a vegan menu if you ask. They can also sub cheese and sour cream for vegan, on any dish.
Read moreI had lunch special Nachos, for $14 I got a nice sized portion for my lunch. Just enough, and not too filling. Much better idea than veg fajitas for $36 haha!

Great vegan tacos - Edit
We have worked for several months in Wanaka and there are really not that many good vegan options around. One exception for us was Amigos with their amazing vegan tacos. Every Tuesday they have a Taco Tuesday event where they are discounted. They also have vegan quesadillas and burritos. When you go in, the staff asks if you have any dietary requirements, so they can give you a special menu where all the allergens are marked.

Vegan quesadillas were the highlight - tasty bean filling with vegan cheese.

Different coloured menu provided on entry for vegans - still has all food options but staff will know to ask your requirements and can easily change any veg option to vegan

Many vegan options & very knowledgeable staff. Lots of very nice vegan sauces that can substitute any non-vegan ones. All of the tacos, burrito, and particular the multi-cooked potatoes are fantastic.

Best cauliflower tacos and mushroom tacos were so good too! Super flavourful and the chipotle mayo is vegan!! Bonus! Delish margaritas too ✌🏾wish I had more room in my belly to get more !!! Definitely coming back!!

Had a really nice vegan burrito here with roasted cauliflower and pumpkin. However it was a bit small for the price, given that there was no side salad or chips. The atmosphere was really lively and the staff was very friendly. They have a separate menu for dietary requirements, and two or three tacos that could be made vegan along with the burrito.
Read moreBe warned though, if you are vegan or vegetarian, both the chips and nachos/corn chips are not vegan, as the staff told us, when I inquired whether they were cooked in the some oil as the meat components. Either they are cooked in duck fat or along with the rest of the food. I am not certain if they have updated this on their menu or website.
