Awful experience - Edit
I hate to give local businesses one star reviews, but my experience at Ami was awful enough to warrant it. It’s possible they were just having an off night, though I won’t be going back to find out. The water REEKED of dead fish and tasted disgusting. I’ve been to plenty of non-vegan sushi places, and none have had a fishy smell like this one. I politely explained to the waiter that I am vegan (including that I don’t eat dairy or eggs, just in case) and he said that the ginger salad was vegan. I don’t know for sure, but when the salad arrived it looked different than any other ginger salad I’ve ever had. I suspected there was some sort of cream in it, so I asked again and I was reassured (impolitely) that it was vegan. I had to take my lactase that night because I was having lactose intolerant symptoms.

Almost no vegan options….. - Edit
The soup and the salad are both not vegan. The only vegan things you can get here are basic vegetable rolls. For the price, I’d go elsewhere. The service is great though!

Their best dish was veg fried rice, and I used to get it all the time with no egg. Today they told me they can no longer take the egg out, and honestly, what a step backwards! Won’t be going back.

Love going here for sushi - Edit
This is a great place to come in for lunch & dinner. They have great weekly specials and lots of vegetable rolls to choose from.
