OG and good - Edit
Vegan breakfast burrito on Amelia Island, that says it all. They've been a stalwart here for years. New owner in the last year apparently but vegan options are still good. They included a to -go butter with the food, which is a no-no, but the food was tasty and fresh. Great outdoor sitting space too in addition to nice are inside.

Nice option in Fernandino beach - Edit
We ate lunch at the cafe in Nassau Health Foods and were pleasantly surprised. They have vegan soup, salad, and sandwiches. I got a vegan blt on gluten free bread, and it was delicious. They have outdoor seating in the shade. I didn’t explore the groceries too much, but I would definitely come back just for the cafe!

Came across this unexpectedly and left with many goodies like vegan babybel cheese, crackers and macaroons. Organic wine also available.

Great Cafe & Vegan Shopping - Edit
The cafe is inside a health food store and has tons of vegan breakfast and lunch options as well as daily vegan specials. The absolute best vegan breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. We love the fresh grab and go foods (lots of vegan choices) for beach day snacks. The health foods store is a bonus and has a large selection of vegan speciality items including artisanal vegan cheeses, vegan jerky and snacks, and local raw desserts.

Awesome vegan options - Edit
I went to this cafe because of the vegan options on their menu, but when going in, they had a “Beyond Burger” special that included bacon tempeh, vegan cheese and garlic aioli sauce. The burger was AMAZING and I will definitely be returning at least one more time during my stay in Florida!

Good vegan option! - Edit
Stopped in here for lunch. Super friendly staff, Charlie is the greatest. My husband had the black bean wrap and I had the vegan wrap. They were both delicious!! Very happy with our meals and they had some good items in the grocery section that are hard to find at other places! Overall very happy with our experience, will definitely be back when were in town again.

vegan choices at Mustard Seed cafe inside the health food store - Edit
Excellent Vegan choices. We went back next day and had a wrap with hummus for my wife and Big Buster salad with a bean mash in the middle with balsamic dressing. Excellent choices both days.

A Food Store and Cafe in One Place - Edit
On a recent visit to Fernandina Beach my husband and I decided to check out this health food store and were delighted to find a small cafe. The Mustard Seed Cafe is part of the store and they served a variety of items.
Read moreThe menu clearly lists the items that are vegetarian which makes choosing simple.
I had the Vegan Wrap - Sauteed Squash, onions, mushrooms, mixed greens, sprouts and hummus served in a basil tomato wrap. It was very good and flavorful.
My husband ordered the Black Bean Wrap which was listed on the board as a daily special. Black beans, southwest seasonings, onions and red peppers served with roasted red pepper sauce and mixed greens.
There were several other vegetarian/vegan options including: wraps made with quinoa, tabouleh, and garbanzo beans, a brown rice stir fry and a tofu club sandwich.
The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu so be sure to ask questions.
We helped ourselves to sweet tea and herbal tea selections.
Fish, chicken, and turkey was also on the menu so you can take your non-vegan friends to lunch and there'll be something for everyone.
There were several tables inside the cafe as well as sidewalk seating.
Very nice little cafe with super fast service and great food.
We checked out the grocery section and it was a well stocked store to met all your food needs.
Pros: Excellent ood, Friendly Staff

We love our local health food store. They have a great selection of foods, nutritional/diet aides and as a plus they have The Mustard Seed Cafe now~ They may not be as big as some of the chain stores but we've always found them to be friendly and helpful.
