Well... - Edit
It's a lovely place on a hill, parking available. You get to see the ocean from up there.
Read moreI can't recommend the smoothies though: mine cost more than 3000 (vegan milk is extra) but it just tasted like water with a hint of spinach.
I also got the coconut pancakes with fruits on the side: they're super thick but the taste and consistency is just not what I expected. But: the meal was super filling!
Pros: Very filling meal
Cons: Vegan milk is extra, Smoothies are just water with flavor

Great vegan and gluten free only - Edit
Also has yoga classes and accommodations …
Read moreEverything is vegan AND gluten free.
The prices are moderate for Costa Rica!
We had the omelette and patacones.
The coconut, one solar plexus smoothie with coconut water and a chai latte with almond milk.
It might be crowded with people on their laptops trying to work. When it’s really sunny shadowy seats might be limited.
Spanish is definitely helpful with some of their staff.
We will be back😄

Nice place, good food but expensive - Edit
All vegan, great view, fresh and tasty and more or less healthy. In my eyes it is too expensive though, even for Costa Rica. A Cappuccino should not cost $6,5

Very good 😊 amazing views - Edit
The food here was great overall! We came back over the course of several days for both yoga classes and the food, we even stopped here to grab food to go for our road trip back to San Jose. Occasionally one thing would be a little too salty or under seasoned, but generally it was very good and there was an interesting balance of options. Very health conscious.

So much grease! - Edit
Well i love that this place is all vegan. They have a great view, good vibes, and the fastest internet in PV. However if you get food, you should tell them to take it easy on the grease! I somehow forget that every time i come. Last time i threw up all over the side of my car and this time i just couldnt eat it. Literally dripping with oil. NY stlye pizza slices dont have this much. i love the place, but i feel like a not-so-good review is the only way they will cook differently. Im sure most people are used to consuming a tom of oil, but there are certain expectations at a plant based place. The only 4 times ive eaten here, oil has been the main ingredient. Ive had the Bowl, scramble, omlete, and arepas, and all were the same.
Read moreWhat a shame because everything else about this place is magical. Good drinks too
Pros: Great view, good vibes, Fastest internet in PV for free
Cons: Oil is the main ingredient on everything, No other cons

Amazing - Edit
I joined a yoga class and ate breakfast after. As a side note, the yoga class was amazing (3000c or 5$ drop-in, amazing teacher), but we're here for the food: I tried the mixed toast thingy and the Mushroom Magic Latte. The toasts were extremely good! Especially the jackfruit one - just wow. Jackfruit is okay, I like it, but never have I tried such deliciously prepared jackfruit. I don't like beetroot, but the beetroot hummus was also surprisingly good. The latte was also good, I added some sugar. My boyfriend had the coconut pancakes, nothing too special, but they were also extremely good lmao. The place is nicely set in the rainforest but really close to downtown. You have to walk up a hill to get there.
Read moreOnly downside to this restaurant is the price imo. It's reeeeaaaally expensive. The toast sampler is like 9€. Uff. Pancakes 8€. Latte 5€. You have to add almost 25% to the total price. As good as the food is, but if I would've stayed longer in PV, I probably wouldn't have returned to this restaurant. and I wasn't a budget traveller on this trip haha. But yeah, this place obviously caters to rich white eco ladies😄If your budget allows it, I'd recommend this place anyway.
Pros: Amazing view, Excellent food, Interesting food and drink options
Cons: PRICE

Great Place! - Edit
Such a nice place! The staff there was great and the place is calm and quiet, which is really nice compared to the busy Main Street of Puerto Viejo. I had the coconut pancakes with fruits (lots of them). Delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Great people, great food - Edit
The whole menu is vegan and gluten free. They have great desserts, chakra-inspired smoothies, and different bowls of rice and veggies. Vegan omlete was good as well. Ate here many times. Great view of the sea as well.

Nothing special - Edit
I went for a lunch bowl and was disappointed. A huge pile of rice and beans, a small scoop of guacamole and a bit of scrambled tofu and four oily crackers. Quite expensive given what you get, but admittedly nice views - beware you have to take a quite steep uphill road. I would not come again.

Yoga and vegan food - Edit
We stayed over for lunch after a yoga class. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The food is healthy and organic and a lot comes from their own garden. The food was delicious but we just expected something different ordering a bowl (we expected a salad and received a bowl with hummus and veggies on the side. It was mentioned on the menu, but somehow we created a salad in our mind). Except for that: worth the visit (yoga and food!)

Small menu but delicious. - Edit
The menu is small - like 5 items small but delicious and worth a visit nonetheless. We ordered two smoothies, the barbecued jackfruit “toast“ and the beet root hummus on gluten-free bread. Everything was made with love and delicious. Great atmosphere and beautiful location as well.
