Crispy boyoz 😋

They have a lot of vegan choices. I've tried spinach, olive and eggplant, they were good I think. Staff is knowledgable about veganism. They cost 30-35 tl.

Awesome

Loved the boyoz here, like other reviewers I thought that the olive one was especially good. Also well-priced at generally less than €1 per boyoz. Toilets upstairs were surprisingly clean.

Note: if you're sitting at a table, you can go to the counter and get what you want immediately (along with any drink orders), then pay when you're finished.

Recommend spinach and olive. It‘s worth the wait!

Vegan selection

Has a handful of vegan options. Staff seems to know what vegan means. I ordered a spinach one and an eggplant one. Would have loved for there to be more contents inside.

Surprise find

When arriving here on a Sunday morning the queue was very long. We figured that the food here has to be really good so we came back later in the day. We tried the artichoke and spinach pastry and they were very good. They were quite oily (as many foods in Turkey are) but such a nice snack. People working there spoke English and understood what options were vegan.

Pros: Vegan options, Cheap

Unusual bakery

I am suprised that these are vegan! Indulgent and tasty, they are also oily/buttery which is expected with this kind of thing. They have several different fillings, the olive was by far our favourite but all were tasty. The tahini is good for those with a sweet tooth, but it was to sweet for us. On average 7tl for each one.

Kinda like a filled croissant

I’m not sure how to describe boyoz, but I guess they’re like if gözleme and croissants with fillings had a weird but delicious baby? Make sure to get the tahini one, it’s almost like peanut-butter filling and different than any other tahini I’d ever had, but in a good way! #Veganuary

Lovely spot for sunday breakfasts in Izmir

Always serving hot/warm boyoz with many vegan options, the bakery has a vivid and cosy atmosphere here that makes me keep coming almost every weekend(gotta be careful tho, boyoz is tasty but very greasy). And I always have my tahini and spinach boyozes with Subye(which is a plant-based milk that I love). The place is crowded most of the time, so if the weather is good, picking up your boyoz and going to the sea side is recommended for a better view and enjoyment.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Tasty

Cons: Place might be crowded

'Boyoz'

This bakery is the best with the Jewish vegan taste called 'Boyoz'. I love the ones with artichoke and leek. The location of the bakery is great, and you should definitely try it.

Pros: Boyoz Options, Location

Cons: Prices, Crowded
