Not many vegan options - Edit
This didn’t have any vegan options to eat in really (not sure if it was the day we came in) but did have some vegan breads to take away but no vegan desserts etc so be mindful - we expected more options!

Clearly labeled vegan food and yummy coffee! - Edit
Good service and food was fresh out of the oven; there was only two vegan options but both were delicious and the coffee was absolutely brilliant

Definitely worth a visit - Edit
We went in around opening, and all the bread was hot, soft and delicious!! All allergens clearly marked. We shared a fig bread, a candied orange bagel, a rice bread roll with raisins and a brown rice roll with sesame. All were yummy, esp the brown rice roll with sesame and the candied orange bagel. We ended up taking some soy pulp crackers and nut cookies to go for later - both also yummy!

Bakery, but no cold cuts or spreads - Edit
Great bakery products. Clearly labelled.
Read moreRecommended to take away though such that you can prepare a decent sandwich and don't have to eat a dry bread or bun.

Most delicious food - Edit
They had clearly labelled sandwiches indicating if they contained any meat or seafood, which I appreciated as a vegetarian.

Great but very limited choice - Edit
I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. I had a vegan orange bagel that was truly delicious, but other than that there was basically very few vegan alternatives.
Read moreI wouldn't normally take an issue with this if it wasn't for the fact that they advertise themselves as "vegan and organic bakery", while most of their stuff has milk / cheese / egg.
The soy latte was nice, but perhaps a bit expensive.
Pros: Glorious orange bagel
Cons: Very limited vegan choice

Finally some baked goods 😁 - Edit
Everything is clearly labeled and there's a bunch of vegan options from plain bread to chocolate chip cookies. I had the champagne fig bun, a small raisin rice bun and said cookies 🤤 there's tea and coffee with soy milk as well and the lady that runs the shop is super lovely!

Plenty of vegan options - Edit
Close to Nijo castle, plenty of vegan pastries and soy lattes. I got a champagne and fig roll and soy latte for breakfast and brown rice and sesame roll for the road. They also had vegan French bread and cookies and other rolls. Everything vegan is clearly labeled. Very reasonably priced

not much selection but good bread (not german style tho) - Edit
ngl i was also curious because the name is german but definitely no german bread here haha ) i saw on the pictures here that they offer pastries so i went there but the only vegan stuff were plain bread which i felt a bit stupid at first eating blank without anything on it BUT!! it was really tasty even without anything so i’m not mad!:D (and i was hungry) the coffee was also good - got some toast bread as well which is a bit pricey (500 yen for half 厅)

Amazing - Edit
Tried vegan and non-vegan options. Salt bread with sweet red bean paste was yummy. Also tried salt bread with sweet potato… both vegan. These were the two main vegan options available when we went. There was also plain breads. Some in group also tried non vegan options like seasonal veg pizza bread with white sauce, also delicious. Enough for a big snack or small lunch for vegan.

I really liked the bread rolls here. I came late in the afternoon and they still had a selection of vegan rolls, bagels, baguettes, and loaves of bread.

Good - Edit
They have a few vegan options but too far and between. The great bun was nice but that’s the only really deviation from normal bread that I saw but they are plenty of non vegan variants available, which is a shame.

Very good bread - Edit
The shop was almost closing, so i was expecting to buy the leftovers. But the flavour was really surprising. The bread was moist and so fresh. You can really taste it is home-made bread. I had a green bun with bean filling. Looking forward to buy something tomorrow again.

So much vegan bread! - Edit
A cute bakery with a huge variety of clearly labeled vegan breads. We bought quite a few of them, and every single one was excellent! The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because it is not 100% vegan. Maybe they should consider it.
