Caution

Both breakfast bowl options that were labeled as vegan had honey in them and one also had been pollen, so had to ask to have without. Avo toast comes with cream cheese, no substitutions offered. Quality of food was pretty good but expensive, service was meh.

Hidden Gem in Waiks

Aloh is a health cafe that transitions to a bar after 12 p.m.! Visited this morning with a mate who lives in Waiks and it was gorgeous sitting outside - you don’t feel like you’re in the heart of Waiks at all! Great menu selection, friendly staff, amole seating - I’ll be back for their happy hour and food for sure! Their menu is not entirely vegan but easily adjustable (most items you just have to ask for no cheese like the avo toast, aloh salad etc!) We tried the Hawai’i Sunset and Aloha Dream!

Pros: Indoor and outdoor seating, Very friendly staff, Great menu (their juices are A1!)

Cons: Tricky parking

Fresh and quick service

Lots of smoothie options and the pink dragonfruit was delicious and fresh. Homemade sourdough was yum and fresh avo well seasoned on it. Not a large number of savoury vegan options but can modify some menu items to veganise them
