Little nook in Brantford - Edit
This little gem in Brantford offers a variety of plant-based options. It has a cosy seating area with a rustic farmhouse interior. Perfect for small gatherings or a coffee and snack on your own! Offers desserts, bowls and non-dairy milk options.

Good but could use more options - Edit
I generally like what they have and they label things well. However the quantity of vegan options could be better.

Not a good option for vegans - Edit
Advertised as vegan friendly but definitely underwhelming. They had 1 vegan cookie available when I was there and no vegan options for sandwiches/meals.

Good! - Edit
Ate here while in town for a concert. Had a bagel melt. It was nice, nothing overly special but pretty good. Cute little shop. Would like to see a bit more variety/filling fare, but it’s pretty much just sandwiches.

Great spot for lunch or a treat - Edit
Almond Butterfly is one of my favorite recent finds. They have a small cafe space with wifi, so if you're lucky enough to be able to grab a chair, this might be a nice study space. Every time I've been, it's been quite busy so seats are a bit of a hot commodity it seems.
Read moreTheir cupcakes and cookies are really delicious. The frosting on the cupcakes is super generous, which is right up my alley. I have also tried two of the vegan bagel sandwiches. The one with cream cheese was really good and the veggies were really fresh. I loved that one. I also have tried the vegan pizza bagel which was super melty and very daiya-cheese forward, so not my favourite but still quite tasty.
Pros: Generous frosting on cupcakes, Clear labelling, Delicious bagel sandwiches
Cons: Limited seating space

Loved their cupcakes - Edit
They’re cupcakes were good. I didn’t partially enjoy the bagel sandwich we ordered taste-wise or texture wise.

Delicious treats - Edit
Chic little spot near the corner of Spadina and Harbord. The vegan breakfast cookie offers a tasty and hearty start to the day and there are plenty of plant- based milk options for your daily coffee.
Read moreI was also offered a sample of a vegan cupcake - it was fantastic. The cake was moist and the icing sure to please.
Staff is friendly and welcoming. Thank you to the team at Almond Butterfly for offering a lovely start to my day today.
Pros: Excellent vegan options
Cons: Perhaps on the pricey side
