OK, not amazing, but OK - Edit
It was quiet, which was nice. Most staff friendly except one that was maybe not having the best day. There were 3 vegan pizzas on the menu, ordered one of each and she didn’t know what they were, we had to spell it out. Garlic bread was cold on the bottom and the topping was only in the middle of the bread, leaving a lot of just bread in each slice. The final order (chips) was not bought out with the rest and we had to go ask instead of being told at the time. Bit disappointed especially since they were quiet at the time. The pizzas though were excellent.

I had the eggplant schnitzel and after a really disappointing one at another pub I wasn’t too optimistic but gosh did it hit the spot.
Read moreThe schnitzel was crispy, the chips were delicious, you get a choice of side. I chose the slaw.
And the Gravy was 👩🍳😘
My daughter had the kids menu chicken nuggets a subbed out for the crispy cauliflower. Those could’ve had a bit more flavour. But she still ate them.
They gave her a sorbet with her meal.
It was all so damn delicious!!! I absolutely recommend.

A pub with an abundance of vegan options - Edit
The Alma has a whole vegan menu seperate from the normal menu. The Beyond Burger is delicious with crispy hot chips accompanying it.
