Hidden gem - Edit
Loved the menu del dia, which is every day something different. It comes with a soup, main dish, drink and dessert for only 17.000. The food is delicious and healthy , they don't deep fry anything and are using superfoods and rice integral.

We really wanted to like this place; especially because it’s fully vegan and we were so hungry- I was almost certain anything could taste good. Unfortunately, we were received with ableism and “don’t ask life saving questions” energy.
Read moreThey only had 3 options available: curry rice, menu of the day, and a burger. I explained that I am allergic to peanuts and the server told us the dessert has peanuts. All they could do is remove the dessert, as there were no others available. I asked if they would be willing to give us a little more of something instead like salad or veggies and she said “no”. Maybe then they could lower the price a bit; she also refused. [no accommodation for needs]. So we took it anyways as we had already made the journey there and hoped it would at least taste amazing. It was actually barely edible 🥺😭. The salad was so acidic and the mushrooms were boiled or something? No color or flavors (How is that possible?). The portion was tiny (the rice was literally just 4 spoon of rice).
My partner ordered a burger and when it arrived, there was something hard inside. She was afraid it had nuts, as we were hoping to share it, so she asked the staff just to be sure and received eye rolls and plain unkindness for her question. Having life threatening allergies is categorized as a disability under the ADA- I literally cannot eat that or I would die in a matter of minutes. I was shocked to find such unkindness and lack of care at a vegan restaurant. It breaks my heart. Would not recommend.

I went here on a Sunday afternoon and had the meal of the day which currently costs 15.000 pesos as of September 2023. The meal included a vegan crepe which was filled with veggies and quinoa, plus a couple of other items on the plate. Also included in the meal was a bowl of soup, a juice drink, and a small piece of vegan cake. I found the food to be good and I would go back there on a Sunday as it is one of the few vegetarian restaurants open on Sunday (and most holidays too).

They currently serve a menu of the day (soup, main, dessert, juice) that is very affordable. They also serve vegan burgers. All is really excellent and delicious.
Read moreTheir new location is best indicated on Google Maps, but the pin on HappyCow is close enough too (opposite side of the street). Restaurant is on the second floor, look out for their wooden sign.
PS: Their location on Uber is the old one - it's walkable distance away.

It seems that had some renovation issues so it was not possible to order all I wanted (a proper diner).
Read moreI took two mock cheese croissants, I asked to not heat them up but it was a mistake, they were pretty dry. I also got a coffee, it tasted pretty close to some coffee I got in Mexico (and that I didn't like at all but it's a matter of taste), a delicious dark chocolate-peanut cake if I may call it so and took away a carrot cake, killer cake, really amazingly delicious. Regarding the croissants, I don't know if it's because I came there in the early evening or if it was due to the issues that had there so, I'll consider that it was an accident, hopefully.
Many of the food contains little or no sugar and whole grain flour for many or most pastries.
Very friendly staff, the person who seems to be the owner speaks English.
It's also a little store, you can find breads (there was a dough raising there so I presume they bake everything in the shop), Indian desserts, cookies, organic and vegan products (plant-based milk, soap, etc.) as well as a few t-shirts and whatnot promoting veganism.

For only 12,000 COP (which feels not enough for the quality!!) you get a wonderful, nutritious, well balanced menu del dia with a soup, main, refreshing drink and dessert! Amazing value and one of our favorite all vegan places in Colombia. The hosts are also super nice. 100% recommended 👍😊

Hard to find 100% vegan restaurants in Medellin. There are about four. Alma Natura is one of the best. The daily lunch menu is always good. The portions are a good size and the service is excellent.
