Plenty of options - and good! - Edit
There was a whole separated section of the menu marked vegan and plenty of variety! We both went for the Chick’n sandwich. It was good! Would definitely go back and try some more options.

Vegan menu section - Edit
This place was pretty good. Cozy atmosphere inside, and had a vegan section on the menu which is great! They had a variety of options from chili and chili con queso with chips to a house made veggie burger to a pasta dish. The chili and chili con queso were both very good and flavorful, very meaty and rich. The veggie burger was pretty good too, a little dry so I recommend a sauce, but great flavor.

Vegan section on the menu - Edit
Love this place! It has a cozy vibe inside, really odd decor but it works. There are a ton of dates going on around me.
Read moreI ordered the vegan bean chili for a starter then the BBQ jackfruit and Cajun fries.
The bean chili is the best I had anywhere in Cincinnati. Anywhere! It was amazing and when I come back one day, it will be for the chili.
The BBQ jackfruit was great too, but i was too excited to eat it that I forgot to take a pic!

Pretty good - Edit
A fun and cool bar in Cincinnati with a vegan section to order from. I tried the Lemon Drop Martini and it was just basic. The Vegan Pasta Mardi Gras was pretty good. They also had vegan chili on the menu and it looked good.

Great vegan options - Edit
Food was delicious! I got a vegan jambalaya. It was nice to have southern food in Ohio. Love the separate vegan section in the menu with lots of options. Only giving 4 stars because it's not an entirely vegan restaurant.

mardi gras pasta is a winner - Edit
Many vegan options. I wish they would label the sides section of the menu (everything else is labeled!) The vegan mardi gras pasta is my favorite thing to order, it is so good it doesn't even need the sausage or pumfu. Very generous portion. The sausage roll and chili dog are great as well. The garden burger and cheesecake are a little bland. Looking forward to trying their brunch sometime. The parking lot across the street has plenty of unmarked spots you can use.

Been eating here for a while. Usually forget about it and come back and am always impressed and super satisfied. Cheesecake is amazing but honestly I haven't had anything I didn't really enjoy

Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
This place has a fun, funky vibe with solid vegan options. I had the vegan Mardi Gras Cajun pasta, and it was incredible! Service was quick and polite, and the beer options were great. It’s not fully vegan, but they have quite a few vegan items on the menu. I definitely recommend!

Allyn's Cafe - - Edit
Allyn's provides a different cuisine to the area with numerous Vegan options. If you are with someone who isn't plant based, they have a Jumbalaya for them and a Vegan Jumbalaya for you. However, order the Vegan Jumbalaya for meat eater and they won't be able to tell!

My favorite restaurant in Cincinnati - Edit
Before going vegan this was always my first choice. I was very happy to find out that they have vegan options. I always get the vegan chili dog, it is so delicious. Then of course I get the vegan Jambalaya and vegan Mardi gras pasta to go for later. The food is amazing and the staff is very nice and helpful. You cant miss by going here.

While traveling back from Kentucky, we found this hidden diamond!
Read moreGreat vegan chili con queso, vegan chili dog and jackfruit sandwich.
And the Bloody Mary's are fantastic!
Parking is tight but that shouldn't stop you from visiting this little known vegan paradise.
Pros: More vegan options than most restaurants , Great patio
Cons: Jackfruit could have been cooked more. , More parking spaces

Vegan jambalaya! - Edit
I highly recommmend their vegan jambalaya and the chili con queso. I could barely handle the heat myself, but it was all super delicious. Staff was super friendly, atmosphere was dim but charming. They also have outdoor seating when the weather permits. I will definitely have to visit again for Sunday brunch!

I tried the vegan chili con queso and the vegan jambalaya. Both were awesome and carnivore approved! I had leftovers of the jambalaya for a few days. Great service as well.

All that and dessert too! - Edit
Several vegan options. The pretty patio surrounded by flowers is a lovely respite in nice weather. I had the vegan chili dog, which was vey good. I skipped the cheese as I'm not a fan of Daiya. Would like a different cheese option. Had vegan cheesecake for dessert, which was a real treat. You just can't get vegan dessert in Cincinnati, so two thumbs up for that. Tip: If you order iced tea, ask for minimal ice, or you may as well get water.

Spicy but GOOD! - Edit
The family went here for my husbands birthday this May, we had never been. Got the vegan chili con queso to start with, I got the chili dog entree, hubs got the vegan jambalaya... it was all so good. I will say though - it's SPICY! But that's bc it's Cajun, it's not a negative by any means, just be aware if you're a spice wimp! We brought our own cake but we're told they serve vegan cheesecake slices... next time for sure! They have lots of options here, can't wait to try everything! Especially vegan brunch.

SO GOOD!! Best vegan food I've had in the area - Edit
My husband's from Cincinnati, so we come to visit often, and I also thought I had perfected a vegan version of Cincinnati chili. I was wrong. Allyn's version is way better!!
Read moreThere are absolutely tons of vegan options on the menu. I ended up trying both the Cincinnati coney (vegan hot dog with Cincinnati chili) which was messy and completely delicious, as well as the vegan jambalaya, which was OUTSTANDING. That jambalaya was flavorful and "meaty" with different types of veg meats and warm and satisfying.
I didn't end up having room for dessert, but I appreciated that they had vegan dessert options to boot!
Apparently the owner of the restaurant went vegan personally a few years ago, which is why everything is so vegan-friendly.
Also appreciated that it was relatively large with lots of drink options. It would be a great place to come with a group.
I would absolutely come back here the next time (and every time) I'm back in Cincinnati!
Pros: Variety of vegan options, Tastiness, Quirky decor

If you like super spicy food, this is your place! - Edit
My boyfriend ordered the veggie burger & fries and did not like the burger and the fries were bland. I ordered the vegan queso for appetizer and liked it alot. The veggie chili salad with vegan ranch chipotle was too spicy for me to finish. I then ordered vegan cheesecake to cool my mouth and it tasted like cardboard. I would opt for green dog cafe across the street over allyns for veg options.
