Pretty good - Edit
I wanted to like this place more, but it was pretty good, all things considered. I’ll definitely go back and try more items! I’ll try to set clear expectations here. Although it might sound negative, I’d definitely still recommend trying it! All That To Go is a gem, considering its location in Cumberland, MD and the fact that they offer a separate, completely vegan menu. We tried two sandwiches. The Vegan Steak and Mushroom Burger (comes with a nice side salad) was enjoyable. Steak is a misnomer, as it was just a premade (boca?) burger, but the oyster mushrooms elevated this sandwich from “I could have made this easily at home for much less money” to “ok at least it has nice mushrooms on it”. The Vegan Philly Cheesesteak Hoagie was a disappointment. The seasoning wasn’t the best and again, there was nothing steak-y about it. It was the same commercial veggie burger, just chopped up. Do not order this if you’re expecting anything like a cheesesteak. Overall, we were satisfied and eager to try other options. The vegan desserts sounded tasty. The most disappointing thing about our visit to ATTG was when I started to ask the owner/operator if she liked the vegan…and this is as far as I got before she cut me off and said with disgust, “I don’t eat vegan food!”. She doubled down and said “I sell it, but I don’t eat it”. This really dampened our experience. She was otherwise very positive and friendly.

Cons: Owner’s strangely apparent disdain for vegan food., A little pricey for the quality of food., Descriptions of food items misrepresent dishes.

Great vegan food and friendly service - Edit
So great to find a place with a separate fully vegan menu! I had the oyster mushroom hoagie with a side of mac and cheese (I was hungry after lots of bike riding) - loads of food and soooo delicious! I would really recommend. Even better, the owner gave me some vegan dessert for free, which was also excellent. Really fab food and friendly service - definitely try it out.

Best vegan Mac n cheese! - Edit
Absolutely amazing food! I didn’t have high expectations for finding vegan food beyond an impossible burger and fries in Cumberland because it’s such a small town but I was blown away to see such an extensive menu at All That To Go! The Mac n’ Cheese was legit the best I’ve had eating out, the fried oyster mushroom hoagie was loaded and delicious, the marble cake was a perfect way to finish the meal and the peach lemonade was so refreshing. I want to give this place 5 stars because of the comprehensive vegan menu. I will definitely be coming back to Cumberland just to eat here again!

Tasty Food!! - Edit
I ordered fried oyster mushrooms, cajun fries, and the vegan red velvet cake. Didn't realize these fries were not vegan (owner explained in the comments that they contain ranch seasining) since I usually consider those a "safe" food on the rare occasion I have to eat out, but everything else was AMAZING.
Read moreI didn't know cajun fries would have dairy; none of the online recipes or pre-packaged ones in stores ever have dairy. As of writing this, DoorDash does not indicate there is dairy in the fries. I am aware there is a seperate vegan menu, but places back in my home state often have sides and such that are just innately vegan, seperate from the veg menu. I'm only about 8 months vegan, so... the more you know, I suppose. I'll be more careful in the future.

Thank you for clearing this up. I didn't get a notification that you had commented, so I do apologize for getting back to this later. I will edit my review. I did not even consider that the fries were not vegan, since I usually consider fries a "safe" food on the rare occasion I eat out. I thought it was just seasoning and not anything with dairy, since nothing in the description on DoorDash indicated that. I was very grateful to have great vegan options while out of state. Your food is incredible. I would have never guessed it was the fries. I would have guessed cake or the batter used for mushrooms.

I really did not mean to insult you or harm your business. The point of Happy Cow is to help people on plant-based/vegan diets find safe options, so I mistakingly thought I was helping them by posting that. I do apologize. I was super upset after being sick all night since I am allergic to dairy on top of having been vegan for several months, meaning my body absolutely just does not tolerate dairy anymore. Like I said, I would have never crossed my mind that fries contained dairy. You are doing a great service by having a vegan menu. I just goofed up.

Just order exclusively off of the Veganation Menu, or if you do order off the non vegan menu Just let us know and we will adjust.

It may be worth mentioning that the fries contain dairy on DoorDash. No cajun seasoning recipe I've found or bought contains dairy, so people with allergies may not suspect the fries. My partner has been vegan for a decade (with an even more severe milk allergy than mine) and was shocked the fries were what made me sick.

Ranch Seasonings Always have dairy in it , that's why I have a SEPARATE MENU. I'M NOT ABOUT TO KEEP GOING BACK AND FORTH. I have separate MENU because I'm not available to hold your hand through your journey. I repeat u have a Whole SECTION dedicated to Vegans then u choose to order of the Regular menu, because this isn't a restaurant that specializes in Vegan foods. I probably will just Stop selling it Period I've Never had these issues b4. I try to give you what you want also and that isn't enough.

I understand being upset, but this is just unprofessional... I was politely trying to suggest allergen warnings for people who may be ordering off the regular menu but have dairy sensitivities. There is no indication DoorDash that the fries contain ranch seasoning. That is all. May you have a more peaceful day than this morning has been.

Awesome is really all to say. Had the meatball hoagie and fries. Be sure to ask her to keep off the white sauce stuff if you're not into that thing (I didn't know about it and had to scrape most of it off).
