The freshly fried croquettes were filling and delicious. It's a small place, but it feels homey and comfortable.

Resto végé/vegan - Edit
Petit restaurant confidentiel où nous avons mangé un délicieux repas végétarien. Les croquettes d'okara et de graines sont très bonnes ! Attention tout n'est pas végé/vegan.

Quiet place not far from Shimokitazawa station. Good amount of food with free hot tea. I was satisfied at the end. Price just the average in Tokyo

Great little place not too far from station - Edit
Looks like it is run by a couple of grandmas, really cozy and small space. Has a delicious vegan plate with tempeh, croquettes and veggies and rice sides.
Read moreWe had "Mix Fry Lunch A set" which is vegan, but I think there might be other vegan menu items.
We had to wait a bit due to the place being tiny, but we enjoyed our stay. It has great interior and atmosphere.

Cozy, artistic vegan respite - Edit
After walking through much of Shimo-kitazawa, we found Alicia cafe. The food was delicious and the service courteous. Mostly vegan options. Perhaps best, the ambience is a cozy and artistic respite from the hustle of this Bohemian neighborhood.

Worth it. - Edit
I went there twice when it was closed. Turns out it's mainly (only?) open during daytime.

Healthy Japanese food - Edit
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Shimo Kitazawa! The owners are so friendly and and the restaurant itself super cozy! It feels like you sit in a tree house. It’s a very tiny restaurant but so far there has always been seats when I’ve been there.
Read moreThey have multiple vegan options and sessional dishes. Just tell them that you are vegan and they will help you out.
Be aware that this is very traditional Japanese flavouring, meaning not very seasoned.
Pros: Healthy Japanese food, Cute restaurant, Friendly and helpful staff

Delicious Japanese food - Edit
Most of the meals offered by this small restaurant are vegan and made of typical Japanese food: miso soup, rice, korokke, oden... Great if you want vegan food which is not falafel etc. The place is well-decorated, and you can buy a few vegan and organic products (including vegan stock and natural umeboshi). Most of the meals cost 1300 yens, and both my friend were totally full (large portions).

Great meal. - Edit
They have few vegan options and I have to say the meal is pretty amazing. The fried croquettes were just right with the crunchiness and the moisture inside and matches well with the sauce. Feels like a home made food for sure. Highly recommended.

Great macrobiotic food in quaint setting - Edit
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years, and visited again today for the first time in a while. It’s not fully vegan, but everything on their menu is veganizable. They have great miso soup, brown rice dishes, curries, and croquettes. It does have limited hours, but it’s definitely worth popping in when it’s open!
