Bad, troublesome experience all around. - Edit
I can here two times, and overall this was a waste of time and money.
Read moreThe first time I followed the location and ended up on what seemed an abandoned building. That would be ok if there was proper signaling inside the building, but there wasn't, and there were no lights on, it was dark so we didn't see the elevator.
We walked two floors and each one seemed more abandoned than the other so we gave up on the 3rd floor and came back down.
After going back, and now with internet access checking the reviews more properly I realized I we were very close, the restaurant was on the 4th floor of the abandoned building!
That actually sounded cool, and the menu in the reviews had really cheap prices around 40-150tl so I tried again on another day.
On the second try I did end up on the restaurant, but the prices in the menu had risen considerably(about 3-4 times higher than the last pics here on happycow) sucks but I decided to try anyway, so I order something on the cheaper side, for around 150tl, from the vegan menu the waiter said "we don't have it ready". I asked for something else and he clarified that *nothing* from the vegan menu was available.
He confirmed with the kitchen, and then told me the only vegan thing they had was one dish from the "on the grill" menu for 320tl.
At this point I was just so tired and starving so I said ok, but I should have just left there.
The food came, it was actually good and tasty, a sizeable portion, but definitely not worth the trouble or the price. My company ordered something non-vegan, but his dish was a really small portion and it was even more expensive.
They also brought us water without asking, opened it and, and then when ordering asked if we wanted drinks, to which we said no, so we assumed the water was included/free tap water. Surprise surprise, it wasn't.
We were charged a whooping 85tl for the water that you can get on the supermarket for 5tl, they also charged and additional 85tl for "service charges" so we were charged and additional 170tl on top of an already overpriced meal.
We felt deceived and ripped off.
All in all this was a terrible experience, and I would've given it a 1* if the food wasn't actually tasty.

Decent vegan kebab - Edit
We managed to get a table here but you may need to book. They offer a vegan kebab (it has a whole page on their online menu).
Read moreThe older members of staff seem to be more knowledgeable about veganism.
They offered starters of veg and pea hummus with fresh baked pita. These were tasty.
The kebab was good, we opted for the spicy version which wasn’t too spicy.
Difficult to locate so use the directions in the previous review
Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options. , Some staff were knowledgable , Nice tasty food
Cons: Difficult to find. , May need to book.

Great options - Edit
Great vegan options which are listed on a separate vegan menu. Lot of different mezze plates are vegan too. Nicely located. Staff could have been friendlier though.

Had a sunset dinner on a beautiful terrace overlooking the city. Has a vegan menu so tried the kebab which was tasty and well seasoned! Hummus and aubergine starter also great.

Personnel was very kind and understanding vegan/vegetarian. Special vegan menu with all the options from starters to desserts. Ordered Satir kebap and was satisfied with taste and serving. Never tried something like this before, vegan version of Turkish food(which is mostly meat). Great view to Bosporus as well

Oh my, delicious! - Edit
We had typical Turkish food with vegan and it was amazing! The views to the Bósforo are also out of this world. They have a specific vegan menu and prices are more than reasonable.

A hidden gem - Edit
This restaurant is hidden away down a side street but definitely worth finding. Looks a bit mysterious when you take the elevator or the stairs but really nice and modern restaurant with views across the Golden Horn to the East.
Read moreStaff are helpful and friendly, food is good. If you decide to go here it really is recommended to phone ahead so you can at least warn them of your vegan choices ahead of time. I went back a second time and they weren't really that prepared to cook vegan. I can understand that and it does show that it's cooked fresh!
Don't let this put you off, it's well worth a visit if you can warn them before
