As most of the dishes are traditional Egyptian cuisine there’s a lot here for vegans. Recommend Ful Madames; a fava bean stew with salad and bread. Gorgeous food served by a lovely woman who does all the cooking too. Also check out the old Egyptian movies playing on the TV

We stumbled upon this little gem whilst in margate. Basic quaint , clean restaurant with very friendly staff. There was lots of vegan options & flexibility around items in the menu. We had koushary which was so tasty, good size portion & great prices. Will definitely go back.

I recommend coming here, the own is so lovely and food is delicious, definately try the coffee. Everything is clearly labelled and they're very accommodating. Like most places now, bring a coat as it can be chilly in the café

Small independent restaurant, good prices - Edit
I had a nice lunch here with a friend. The bill for the two of us was about £20, so it was a great price. The owner is friendly and kind. Vegan options are clearly labelled. The food is somewhat simple and lacking in colour (very carb heavy), but it’s tasty and filling. Worth a visit.

I had the breakfast offer which was excellent value. My friend had the Moussaka which was next level good, would highly recommend.

Really lovely place, food was delicious and really reasonably priced. Service and location excellent! My husband and I shared the falafel and had a main course each, flavours were amazing and portion sizes generous.

This little place in Margate is absolutely lovely! The food is really interesting and although the menu is small, a lot of the options are vegan. There are only a few tables - a total of 8 seats I think so I would suggest booking or ringing up to check they have space. Would 100% recommend
