Good pub grub and accommodating staff

As others say, no vegan specific menu but staff went over and above to explain what could be made vegan and be accommodating letting us adapt the menu if we wished - they make most items themselves so fairly easy to veganise the vegi dishes (of which there were a few options inc pizza). I had the risotto and chips which was great filling pub grub

Small selection but generous portions

Vegan items not marked on menu but there was a vegan pizza, mushroom risotto and vegetable tart available when we visited. Their cheese is sourced from local supplier who branched out into vegan cheese and is amazing, far superior to anything in the supermarkets. Can't speak for the other dishes but the pizza was massive and everything else leaving the kitchen was huge too. Good selection of drinks at the bar and the chips were amazing as well. Give it a go if you're in the area, we didn't regret it.
